Quite happy so far with Alliance & Leicester , Only quibble is there debit card is an Electron and is not as universally accepted as Visa or Mastercard.

I Have come across many Bosch magnetic pumps that behave erratically, Work fine one minuet, Jam the next. Set to drain them pump the on/off switch, If the pumps faulty this will usually get it to stop.

Thats whats thrown me a bit with this one! it looks like a real AEG made machine, you know the one, removable lower back panel, red plastic flood protection switch fitted to base easy acces to element etc. Not like Zanus versions which go in to valve lock out for no reason at all. Didn’t have a lot of time when I called so will go back and have another look
Thanks

ParticipantRe: Contractor Agreement
I now have 10 Estate and letting agents as regular customers and none of them have ever asked me to sign any contracts. I think that if I were asked I would refuse, As as far as I am concearned my contract to carry out work is with the agent not the landlord.

Did the same thing last year and went to my local glass merchants who matched the glass, cut and ground the edges for £10.

Chris sorry to be a pain, But just put 4812 418 18338 into Connect and the pic shows what looks like a metering tank 😕 On my old SIOS disc the part is listed as a: Water Collector on the older Dolphin range of D/Ws

Chris, Its a long story, But on all 3 visits to this machine I was suffering from severe Man flu and so my brain cell was not fully functioning. But How I came to stick a screwdriver through the sump is a total mystery to me as well 😳

Cheers Chris,
I Had a faint hope that you might have found this part NLA, Long story but its turning out to be one of them the jobs from hell . If I can get this sump fitted I might just cover what I have spent so far, But will have lost at least 3 Hrs labour 🙁 .Goose

Just in the prosess of switching from Dick Turpins bank (Barclays) to Alliance and Leicester, After I realised my bank charge last year was over £600. Has been a bit of a process so far, Mainly due the fact that they arrange for all of your DDs and standing orders to be transfered to the new account. The web site is not as clear as Barclays but you can do anything that you want to do with day to day banking. The only charge I should have with A&L is 23p per hundred cash paid in over a £1000 per Mth, Barclays is 60p for all cash
No Brainer really
