Re: Down to earth cooker elements

We used to have this problem when I worked for creda with there Gen Elements. We either wired them up at home ( In garage) without an earth and run them for 10 Mins or if you could ensure safety remove the earth fron the cooker and run all the elements till they dried out. Almost always worked.

Just one thing to watch with Masterpart as I have had on 3 occasions lately stock availability stated Low or in stock but on delivery listed as back ordered. A quick e mail cancelled the back order though.

    Re: Zanussi, powder stains

    Very strange!

Called out today to a valued customer with the same problem on a 3 year old Zan w/m. Did all the usual
checks. Draining , Jet system working amd not overfilling etc. He then showed me the detergent the Boss
uses, And it was ECOVER. Trying to be as diplomatic as possible, suggested that they try a
standard big box powder and let me know if the problem persists As I have sorted faults on the Neff
Cooker & Dishwasher plus the Zan condenser dryer it would be nice to be proved right on the w/m as well
Please keep posting on this one!

    Re: WP Spray pump Motor

I asked this question because I was having a look at the labour rates poll and my charges seem to be at the lower end of the voting so £47 for a 30 min job 5 miles away seeemed reasonable to me. I am lucky as I have no competitors for miles who are willing to do dishwasher let alone the intergrated stuff and I seem to get a steady 8 to 10 jobs a day.

    Re: WP Spray pump Motor

Cust just called and accepted my Quote do you think my price was about right?

    Part £68.00 Inc
    Labour £47.00

    No vat involved

I dont know why, But with some jobs you know you have a good chance of having the quote accepted,
And with others you just know you are wasting your time!
