Hi Andy,
Thanks for getting back to me, I really appreciated your trouble. I searched for part no 35951700. There were 2 parts options that came up, one was SIL35951700, this was the one I ordered and another underneath that was NF1801.
I think i’ll order the NF1801 and see if theres a difference. Thought they’d be the same but looking at the different photos on show it look like the NF is a bit smaller. Thanks again Andy.

Hi,
I’ve just been out to this machine with the part no you quoted Andy. The back of the door boot fits perfect but the front is about 3 inches too big (baggy). I just cant loose the extra amount also the front lip seems a bit bigger on this new one as well.
Is this the correct part no.
If anybody can help it would be appreciated.Cheers

Thanks for your help Andy.
I’ve seen a few of these machines in the past and didnt think they were made by Neff. I’ve tried ringing BSH up in the past with this 6544 number to be told by an operator to go away and obtain an enr, but there is never one on the machine.Your a life saver, thanks again for your help.

Thanks for the advice smartin. Never thought about it syphoning. Its a new kitchen and I presume its plumbed in to the Ubend but I havent had a look yet. Its just that it only goes wrong when its starting to fill, on the odd time when it does fill enough and work, it seems to work for the whole wash and doesnt seem to loose any water.
But this is definatley worth a shot.Cheers

I thought that it was a water level problem. The first port of call is always the pressure switch with the diaphram.
It sounds as though the pressure switch is clicking too soon and the motor starts up, thinking theres enough water in, but when the motor sprays, it takes the water out of the sump and the pressure switch releases, making it fill a bit more until it clicks again and so on and so on. This is until it either throws up the fault of e11 or eventually does have enough water in to carry on.grooster

Yeah, sorry John, I meant the diaphram switch. It was all gunged up and to answer your other question no it hasnt had a leak, the bottom tray was dusty with no apparent water marks on my first visit.
I have replaced the diaphram switch, but not the cable. The cable was completely dry, It had about a week between visits to dry out from taking the switch out last time, to fitting the new one.I might try the cable but apart from that and changing the PCB i’m a bit stuck.

Hi,
Thanks for your help guys, been away for a few days.
I’ve just ordered the heater from the part number youve given me Tim and will go back in a few days to try it out.
Chris i did think this myself, about the heater bracket becoming a bit looser and the heater bouncing. I had this a few years ago, but not on this model. I’ll try the correct heater and take it from there. Thanks again
