    Re: Hpt Motor Conversion Problem.

The original motor isn’t available anymore. The wiring diagram shows how to convert the ‘two times four’ block to the ‘straight eight’. Yes distribution IS too fast but is there anything I can do about it failing short of taking the motor back off and giving them their money back?

    Re: creda ststs

Nope, definitely a creda 31375. Aprox 3 months old. Can’t go to manufacturers guarantee as being used in a commercial environment. Slightly different element layout and two stats lye under a plate held by two small Phillips screws. Not marked with the usual red dot or blue dot etc.
Similar to the condenser dryer although this is a normal blow dryer.
    Lost now?!!

    Re: wma9 bearings

What sort of average price for a hpt bearings, seal, tub gasket, sus retaining pins and drum spider charge on a wma series? Bottom line to include everything.

Thanks guys, I’ll start again. Was a bit pushed for time yesterday so thought I’d check the site for a common fault if there was one.

Re: Testing or Bypassing Door Interlock

Thought that was part and parcel of the site and not to involve the public! Still think it’s biased. Turns out I’m the only one to have bypassed a door lock, gone over 30m.p.h. in a built up area and used a mobile phone in the car! Point being I think I have enough intelligence to way up the situation and leave the rest to the customer.
    Put it to bed now.

Re: Testing or Bypassing Door Interlock

I still can’t believe that out of all the engineers that use this site that not one of them hasn’t bypassed a door lock in their time, and of course I wouldn’t bypass a stat. The only couple of times have been to well vetted people with more common sense than the commenters so far would believe that they had.
No one going to hold their hand up?
