    It could be one or the other take your pick i would go for console mod if you have any old simlar mods that work but have a fault try it see if you get any lights

    door locks are the same just fit screws, go on hotpoints web site and download manual it will help you with controls

    So do i and and no problem since but i would not risk leaving one to bed in as you suggest i did it once and it wrecked the drum but thats your choice

    I have had same problem according to hotpoint you have to put it on a 90deg which will soften the seal i tried 4 seals before i got one work, i did have one that damaged the drum on one machine so beware test on spin from start to finish .

    when ever i have had that fault it has been the board you need another board
