    Had a this fault on a two machines both were control boards faulty most you should just check motor connection but my moneys on the board if its been replaced before you should be able to refit eprom in new board

    Heaters can cause many false error codes check make of heater if its made by Irca i would be replacing first also i have changed a few of these motors and they all looked like new these part are worth having in stock tha hast speculate to accumalate trust me you will use these parts on other job if not on this call

    Going back to the early vented hotpoint dryer TL range these were the first direct drive models still have slots in base to fit jockey/arm change belt to 1700442 bingo back to a brilliant dryer

    Thanks Jim just woke up had this o’rrible dream that hotpoint had been taken over by indesit and produced a horrible tumble dryer called a VTD00. Phew i’ll go and have a stiff drink now and hope everythings alright in the morning.

    could be due to dampness on board try hairdryer also poor connections board or motor plug but these boards are prone to faults i would bet its faulty

    Had three diffrent wma 1600 machines before christmas all no motor action they all turned out to be the chopper board very strange really never had any problems with this board ever
