ModeratorRe: Spam
Removed two similar spams yesterday but have just zapped one that I thought at first was a pharma seller.
The whole, long post was in a foreign language which I guessed was Polish. Just Googled the posters username and it looks like it was a spam post from Polish decorators. :boops: 😆
Username was Fototapeciarz.

Of course if you really wanted to be facetious Martin you could have posted this one. 😉

ModeratorRe: Bosch D/W drain pump failures
You are probably right, must just be having a run on them ATM. Pumps usually quite reliable on them.

ModeratorRe: Hotpoint washing machine fault codes HE7F 451P UK
Don’t have them for that model but THESE are the latest ones we have and looking at Partfinder the display looks the same as the models using those codes.

ModeratorRe: Hotpoint VTD00, oops CTD
As I mentioned, the parts software shows two fans but no mention of different serial numbers as it usually does???
No mention at all of different fans in the CTD00 hard copy manual but the CTD40 manual does mention a fan change after serial number 60907.****. Sadly the hard copy manuals do not list spare parts.
The Partfinder software does include this information for the CTD40 model and suggests that C00207723 is the earlier, pre 6****** serial number part.
But don’t quote me. 😉

ModeratorRe: Hotpoint VTD00
Fans for CTD00 are C00226347 rear fan, two variants of front fan but no serial number/date code given to determine???
C00207723 is the white plastic one and C00199451 is the black plastic one.

ModeratorRe: Fagor Washing Machine (and combined dryer)
Not a machine I am familiar with but there are some Fagor fault codes available under the Help and Advice tab at the top of the forum home page.

No such model number appears in Partfinder?

ModeratorRe: AEG dryer motor
Fitting this motor tomorrow, first time I have worked on one of these heat pump dryers.
Anything I should avoid such as lying down on any side, I think the motor change will be easier if I lie the machine on it’s left hand (from front) side.
