It should be connected to the cold water mains supply, not the hot water header tank. Nothing to do with the make of machine either.
You cannot see the ‘spider’ from the back, what you can see is the drum pulley. The spider is inside the outer drum, attached to the inner drum. Sadly in most machines of this age removal of the bearings if they have collapsed often leads to damage to the alloy collar the bearings are seated inside.
A full strip down before ordering any parts would be my advice.;)

If I click on my name at the top of the forum next to the messages tab and select my recent posts or click on the new posts link in the forums homepage it does not show any recent posts made in the mods forum spam thread unlike the previous forum software, is that deliberate or is it because that is an old thread from previous software?

Three year warranty so less than £12 per year, more functions and power levels than my £400 built in Neff microwave. 🙁

Tag cloud is a large box on the right hand side just under latest topics on the Forums home page.
You can only add tags to the first post in any thread, click edit and the tag option is there.don wrote:
