New company CAN take on old companies debts but why on earth would they want to?

I stress the word CAN as it becomes a choice for new company, however if they don’t want to that’s up to them.

From what i can see, the spider bolts come with the spider but I cannot guarantee that, but the bolts are NOT listed separately.

Inner drum assembly is part number 41014207

Technical does not show any change in the part number for either the drum or the spider.

You are now the second individual on this thread to mention that I may or may not own a washing machine that I actually do own. I will not have my honesty questioned.

then stop opening the door with comments you later have to explain as said in jest.

Also just one final thing about your reply to me, “comet engineer” would not “fix this stuff” as you say as the washer is from Argos. Sold only at Argos. So there is no way he can have seen “thousands” of these washers.

Argos do not manufacture the unit and there is no such manufacturer as Bush. The Bush name is a badge on the front of the unit only, a company called Vestel made this unit. Vestel manufacture this particular unit and sell it to numerous retailers under a multitude of brand names. This very same unit is sold in vast quantities by Comet as well as Argos. There is every chance therefore that he has seen thousands of these washers.

You have jumped to an assumption which is factually incorrect!

Now I speak as someone who previously worked for the group that owned Comet. Even with the 10{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} staff card, I would not go there.

And this has what to do with the thread other than point out your ignorance of how Comet and its Parent Companies operate. As a former employee of the group you must have known that they strike deals to badge products with there own brand names, just like DSG, John Lewis and Argos do?

I am not playing last word, but I don’t want to hear anything more about this. I want to come back here at some point and update on this washing machine. It should have been a really simple thread that was picked up on google’s search engine to help others.

If you choose to post in a public forum then you must accept that so will others. Some will agree with your point of view, others will not and may post accordingly.

Helping others is an important aspect, but that does not mean we have to accept only your views on the subject matter. Many on here have different views on the subject which we have developed from many years of experience in dealing with this manufacturer and I for one believe balance is called for.

I am off shortly to buy a PRO ACTION washing machine from Argos for my mum and dad. It’s £150. I am going to start a new thread called DIARY OF A PRO ACTION WASHING MACHINE.

Good for you, its made by the same people whom made your Bush machine so hopefully you won’t be disappointed with the purchase, but if you are disappointed should it break down and you live in the area I cover, we will try to sort out the repair for you. We too see 1000’s of these unit.

I would prefer it if you and “comet engineer” steer clear of it. I am not on here to argue.

No thats not the way it works. If you don’t want IADOM or Help_75 posting on any subsequent thread you may raise, should they so wish to do so, then please do not start the thread. Your preferences are immaterial in a public forum.

Argue, you seem to do that well when it suits you. It is a too way thing on these forums, if you don’t like it, perhaps you shouldn’t do it!

I suggest an email to site admin would be in order rather than posts on here as only they can resolve/answer your queries.

They are busy at their trade show at the moment so they might not get to see this or your emails until next week.
