Re: Whirlpool Fault code, “CLEAN PUMP”, any ideas

It could be that a coin is lodged in the drain hose causing it to block intermitantley or a common one is for socks etc jammed in the sump hose.
Also crud in the pressure pot?

Check the brushes, they are the likely culprit…. Back panel, belt & motor off, check to see if they are worn. UNPLUG always :zap:

Yeah dead simple. Remove rear panel then belt then motor, you will see the brushes, 1 on either side of the motor secured with 2 screws each, remember to remove the plastic locking tabs on the NEW set of brushes… and of course ALWAYS unplug before delving in! :zap:

    Brushes available here:

Re: Whirlpool AWM 8123/S Door Lock

There are a couple of things I would be looking at, firstly check that the door hook is dead central to the actual lock close until you can see the hook against the lock, if the hook is slighty off centre you can get problems, try carefully pulling the door up until it is centred.

The other thing is brushes, brushes cause the door lock to flash even when door is closed.

Other than that the door lock itself (not very common) and PCB….

Check the first 2 first though.

Check the brushes, they cause the door lock led to flash.

Re: whirlpool adg 7550 tripping mains

Most likely is that the base is flooded, it sounds like it has overfilled which can happen when clogged up with grease and the like. isolate from mains and then take off the front panel at bottom. Be careful of the drip tray once removed its like a razor. If it is flooded dry it out and try it again, if you have removed the blockage it may be ok, if not motor hose is a likely culprit.

    Remember to unplug it!
