l just cannot believe what l am reading here ,What.. These suits will listen and have contructive dialogue. No, What these suits want is complete control and bully tactics as Matilda commented but that can only last for a short time as the Independants will eventually get rid of the so called contracts with WPs, but then again there is always someone willing to do work for WPs and the WPs will land up with those who dont know a Flare Nut from a Coconut. From the blogs l see on this site it makes you wonder how on earth WPs have lasted so long….

If everybody said Knickers with a capital K then these people would take note… its the only way ,coz again its gonna end in tears but when l keep on and on bout the situation with these clever sods who have never had to deal with everyday problems of running a small company, the situation will never ever change!!!!

    Re: Rejected Claims

Rumour has it that a Company from the West Midlands are covering the area we covered all Somerset to Devon and Dorset borders doing not only white goods but brown goods as well, and l say yes ,they are welcome to it when the fees are between £26.oo to £34.00 per completed call and remember 95{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of all calls are two visit as the spares is another story ,then once job has eventually been completed you have to wait in anticipation whether your gonna get paid … arrrrhhhh..

    Re: Rejected Claims

The problem here is Baumatic , why is this happening ? Yes Baumatic use any man and his horse to make their products, now because its getting a bit tight for Baumatic ,they are going back to their manufacturers for credits on spares/service etc, of course they are asking poor old JTM for serial numbers etc and if they are incorrect in any way they are rejected to JTM ,and JTM then have to supply the correct numbers in order for them to get their wedge, so if the engineers they have used ,coz JTM will use anybody just to the jobs done… Then they have to provide these numbers in order to get everybody paid ,so you can see the problem here its the WPs customer causing havoc by asking for this info in a very short time or the theats are gonna happen not only to the engineer but the WPs ,l dont want to keep on about my views on WPs but l think it is becoming more of a mess and as time seems to pass it gets worse!!!

    Re: The 0800 Thread

Why is 0800 so secretative?? They are not forthcoming in any way also they do not sell parts to any dealer who is not an agent of JTM ,they only will deal with their jobs, a bit of joke really as times is hard and l would have thought they would have served every avenue brought to them ,still the 0800 boys will know the answers but as club rules shush.. dont tell anybody bout our little club. If it was so good they would be telling the world how wonderful it is but ,you try and get any info and everybody clams up

    Re: Independent Service

We use to many years ago when a guy called Mike Mcneela ran it and it was chaos then and from what l can see it has;nt changed
l am so glad we dont rely on these WPs because if we did we l would not be making any comments ,coz we certainly would be out of business…. Remember these are very hard times for all at the moment and these WPs should be looking after their dealers to make sure everyone has a future..also most appliance repairers l know up and down the UK, are loyal dealers to their customers including WPs but it looks like its a one sided relationship!!

    Re: Independent Service

Surely, Somebody somewhere has got to stand up to these WPs ,it cannot go on and on and on, its just dreadful the way the trade which is on its knees is being treated… but then again looking back over the years none these manufacturers or WPs paid very quickly ,maybe l thought it may get better in the future but alas it has’nt

    Re: DSG/RepairCare Rate Cuts

Hi dare l they make a comment here.. If you cast your minds back to the sixties and early seventies Currys and Comet had very successful service departments and maybe the thinking of the present management think that the style of the Service Dept they once had would be better than using a WP, lets face it they will have more control of their destiny, also no matter what we all think, its gonna happen and we all have to except change.. l do feel sorry for those dealers that have put their faith and trust in these WPs but the saying of all the eggs comes to mind ,what goes around comes around!!! Good engineers will always be in work and have some kind of future
