    Re: Fisher&Paykel Oven

I prefer the old style ovens, the build quality was superb but they also had a price to match. The new ones are fine and all I ever change is fan elements and an occasional clock. Pricing for spares is reasonable with the fan element at about £14 and the clock less than £50 retail.

Nice oven for the price you have, cheapest retail I can see here is £750

Fisher & Paykel ovens only come from two sources, the earlier ones with the blue enamel cavity were made in New Zealand or Australia, When F&P bought over Delonghi all production was moved to the Delonghi factory in Italy.

If the oven gets switched off at the mains it will display stop in the display, follow the instructions in the user manual for resetting the clock and it should be fine.

    Hi Mark,

    Usual culprit is this http://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/Dishwash … +Igni.html
If you look at the lugs that hold the pipe on you will find it is either missing the top part or it is cracked at the top causing the pipe to jump out during the wash.

    Hi Seamy,

float switch seems to be working fine, if I empty the sump by putting power to the pump then run machine it will go through the program but wont activate the pump, the water bottle light then comes on ( once it fills the sump ) and I assume this is activated by the float switch.

With no power going to the pump during the functional test I assume it will be the pcb.

Does the moisture sensor test actually work, I have tried it on 2 machines and on both it fails the low and high resistance tests even though there is no problem the the carbons etc.

To make sure you get the correct part we need the 12nc number from the rating plate, number should start with 85****

    Re: Whirlpool ADP9411

9 different version of this model so you need the 12nc number to be sure of right part, open the door and look on the top of the plinth, there is usually a few spare stickers on there with the 12nc and serial number on it.

By console module I take it you mean the module behind the fascia??
This one rarely goes faulty it is normally the one behind the plinth that goes.
