What does interest me is how the hose got broken inside the door as it should be static in there, in theory.K.
From what I have been told the hose was broken right at the hole where it comes out of the door. The engineer said that it appeared to be pretty rigid and had no play in it so I assumed that it would need a complete door.
A costly repair in any ones book though I imagine it will be repaired as it will cost just under half the original purchase price to repair

Spot on Del,
I fully agree with all you say but I think you should choose your words more carefully.
Del said “Ken will confirm that I have Baddgered him on a weekly basis”
Behave yourself, I thought you were a bit suspect at the last UKWG meet but who would think you were inclined this way ???? 😀 😀

ParticipantRe: whirlpool ADG7540/1
The flow meter on this appliance is built into the monoblock, it is a little propeller that turns against a reed switch and tells the cpu how much water has passed into the machine. Not an item that goes that often so I would be checking the inlet pressure first before buying a monoblock. Part no 481241868149

ParticipantRe: HOMARK SPARES
thanks for the speedy reply Dave. Appliance motor is burnt out and it is 10 years old so I assume it will be written off. Any idea where I can get a motor from in case the ins. co. give the go ahead

ParticipantRe: Customer Database
Hi Guys,
Been following this post with interest since I have not registered under this act. A few years ago I checked if I was required to register and was told that I did not have to. I have got records of all my customers on my server and even have records of prospective customers who I have never been to ( they have registered their product with the manufacturer and their database updates mine daily.) So after reading the previous posts I thought I better cover my backside and check If I should register under the act and was told again that I do not need to.The evidence is here:
http://forms.informationcommissioner.go … ml#Account
In short if you keep records for staff administration and if you keep records of your customers on computer you do not need to automaticaly register as long as your data is within the guidelines of the above link.
