Now, do we offer this to everyone else, i.e. non-subscribers, or not? I think we should really.

    K.

I think we should open it to everyone as the more that is bought the better, might even go for a bogoff deal.

It is time for me to buy my guys new work wear so I will be buying 30 polo’s. 20 trousers and 10 fleeces

    Re: Workwear Deal

I had a chat with the work wear people this morning and got a quote based on my own needs and was told that the price will be reduced if there was a large quantity of orders from UKWG members.

For the one off artwork fee it will cost me £20 to get my name and logo made up.

Classic polo shirts are £5.95 each and come in sizes XS-4XL for 3XL and 4XL add £1.00 to the price

Fleece jackets are £14.00 each in sizes XS to 3Xl for 3XL add £1.00

    Work trousers are £8.95 each

To get the garments embroidered there is a minimum order of 8 item though they will do less for a £10 surcharge

The price for the polo shirts and fleeces “includes the embroidery work” which I thought was a very good deal.

The only extra we have to pay is to get the artwork for the UKWG logo made up and it will cost between £0.80 and £1.20 to get this embroidered to each shirt.

If you can post back here with rough numbers required I will go back to the supplier with the artwork and get a firm price.

    Damn, 😡 damn, 👿 damn, 😥

While you are all partying the day and night away I will be at the NEC working at the BBC Good Food Show. The main difference is that the drink and food is all free there. The problem is I cannot touch it as I am working.

There is always next year!!! 🙄 🙄

    Re: Another Idea

    Brilliant idea Ken,

We use a dual format card which is like a business card on the front with two sections on the back.

The first section has the usual,

“we called today at 2.05p.m. to repair your appliance and got no answer, can you please call our office on the telephone number overleaf to rebook call quoting job no. 12345

And we have recently added a second section which says,

” we will return on 20/8/04 to fit parts to your appliance, if for any reason you cannot be available on this date can you please call our office quoting job no:12345 to change the appontment”

We found we were getting a lot of no access calls on return visits and this second section seems to help.

    Re: Members Charter

Sorry for not replying Ken, been on holiday for the last two weeks and have just been glancing at the site. I am in the process of replace the back wall of my garden, 45 ft long, 8 ft high double brick, as you can see I am now skint also.

But getting back to business, I still have a problem with the answer machine. I have some technical and political problems in setting a machine up and will give you a call you to explain.

    Re: Members Charter

All looks fine by me Ken with the exception of the after hours answering machine which I dont think is possible in my office due to the amount of calls we get at night.

Will this charter apply to all UKWG members or just subscriber members?

    Thanks Dave,

I took a look at the Connect site and it is not there. I dont want to throw this out as it is only 16 months old and costs around £150 when new.

    Re: Whirlpool Dishwaher 6 flashes

    Dave,

Without looking at tech info I am pretty sure 6 flashes is equal to F6 which is an inlet problem, no water, faulty valve or flowmeter failure.

If the fault is happening within the first couple of minutes it is usualy either this, a ntc fault or a leak activating the floater that is causing the problem
