    Re: Rangemaster P078073 microswitch

I am pretty sure they are obsolete now but I have one that has a different part number, A028766

I always thought there was only one type of this switch so I imagine it will be the same. I will bring it with me to Wolverhampton.

According to the wiring diagram both live and neutral come from the mains filter to the switch and then to the pcb.

If you pm me your email address I will send a copy of the manual.

Probably the switch that has gone. Live and neutral go straight from the plug to the DP switch and then to the board.

Re: Thermostat for an Ikea Oven

That model number relates to a WHirlpool 12nc 857923215002
and according to their info this oven has a ntc and control board.

Are you sure the number is correct?

2 different versions of that oven listed but it looks like both have the same handle.

Post up the 12nc number to be sure and I will check, but i would think that the part number is 481249868287

Re: fisher and paykel dishdraw overfills

It should be the same rotor motor in both drawers but there is an early version that has a hard plastic impeller on the bottom and the later version has rubber blades. If the rotor has been changed it is possible that the wrong one was fitted, the picture below is of a rotor for the newer models, this one will fit into the older models but will not work. The difference between the old and new is the protruding part on the grey plastic at just after 12 oclock. On yours it should not have this raised part as it is built into the base of the hole that the rotor fits into.

It is possible that the hall sensor has been dislodged which would also cause this fault. Also look at the hall sensor for signs of water leaking onto the edge connector, once again you can swap it out with the one that you know is working to prove if it is faulty.

Are you testing the appliance with the spray arm in place?? if not this can also cause an F2 fault.
