It will be either the rotor or the hall sensor. Try swapping the rotor from the faulty drawer with the other one, if it works then you have a faulty rotor motor. If it still overfills then check out the hall sensor which is clipped to the housing below the rotor.

Re: Removing Zanussi ZCG661GWC glass lid deactivates gas saf

The regulations are quite clear about this situation, you cannot remove the lid and then connect a cooker/hob to the gas supply. If you do so then it will be picked up at the next annual inspection, the appliance will be classed as immediately dangerous and the gas operative will need to inform the HSE.

Your choices here are to either move the wall units so that the lid can be raised to it’s open position with the minimum clearances as stated in the user manual or replace the cooker with one that has no lid.

You cannot remove the lid and still use the appliance. If any safety device is disabled/bypassed the cooker will be classed as immediately dangerous and will need to be reported to the HSE….

If the glass lid was removed due to it hitting the units above then it should not have been installed, the regs state that units above a gas cooker/hob should be at least 650mm above the burners in all cases, the only exception to this is when the installation manual for the cooker says it can be lower.

Re: Whirlpool 2 door fridge /freezer

This looks the same as the UK models so I would imagine that to remove the panel you have to:

    Pull the drip tray off
remove the 2 screws on the control panel below where the drip tray was.
pull panel out from the bottom an inch or so
push panel up to free the lugs at the top

There is no fan element in this model only upper and lower elements, I assume it is the upper that is gone and if so the part is available in the shop here.

Re: ah error code on whirlpool 6th sense washing machine

Fault code AH means that the machine has not detected any water coming into the drum in the allocated time.

Check the water valve is on and that the fill hose is not kinked.

    Hi,

Top fill hose part number is 522401

If the old hose is blown you will probably need the softener unit as well, part number 524886.

If the softener unit gets blocked it will cause the fill hose to split.
