Re: Whirlpool AZB 8680 – Error code F02

F02 is a corrupt control board software problem and the control board retails for about £140 so is by no means cheap.

You could try to reset the control board by doing the following:

    1) Turn the selector to the six o’clock position
    2) push start button 3 times
    3) turn selector clockwise one position to airing program
    4) push start button 3 times

Then try it again, if this doesn’t work then it will need a new control board

Haven’t been taking it for years….

I read the B&Q story this morning and wondered what special kind of pratt in B&Q’s head office sent that memo out.

If there is still space for another topic of discussion maybe Ken or Lawrence can do a presentation/training/Q&A on the Fifty shades of grey film.

We all keep insulation tape and cable ties in stock so it would be good to go prepared for any delicate questions from our customers who have watched the film.

I think the WTA should follow B&Q’s example and give out some guidance to it’s members :rotfl:

    Re: Oven cleaning kits

For all the chrome shelves best ( and easiest ) I have used is he Oven Pride cleaner. Stick all the chrome in the supplied bag, pour in the cleaner and leave overnight. Then just rinse off with the garden hose and they come up as new.

You are correct in that they are not phillips screws ( been a long time since I did this job ) they are either t10 or t15 torx IIRC

It is this part that you will probably need

    http://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/48124181 … lter-cover

If you look at the holes that the spray arm pipe fits into you will see a rectangular slot cut into each one, these are what hold the pipe in place.

On your machine there will be a crack at the top of the slot allowing the pipe to come loose when it is under pressure.

Easy to change just 4 phillips screws IIRC.

Re: Whirlpool AWZ7913 – tumble dryer – fault code

F14 fault, it looks like a heater short circuit or heater relay contacts welded. If it was short circuit you might be able to clear the fault by resetting,

turn selector to 6 o’clock position
    push start button 3 times
    turn selector clockwise 1 position
    push start button 3 times

You have to do this within 10 seconds.
