    Hi Ally,

If it is an original 603 then it will have a plastic link arm holding the harness, fill hose and the empty hose together. These break apart in the middle and can stop the drawer closing correctly.
The replacement part ( 528437 ) has been modified and should cause no more problems once fitted

Are you serious? Did the customer cough up or write off?

Job was for an insurance company on a new for old policy, the rumblings are that they will pay to get this done.

    Re: Fisher & Paykel Dishwasher

You have probably had water on the mains filter board and if so the leak could have taken it out. Also check the connections from the mains filter board to both top and bottom harnesses and check both harnesses where they meet the control boards for each drawer. As a last resort split open the housing for each control board and check for damage..

If hose is bulging then the water softener is buggered, you need part number 522539
Control board part number is 528610HEUP

Re: Fisher Paykal dd603 display scrolling

    Hi Simon,

    4 possibles here.

    1) The three buttons around the display are stuck to the handle and are jammed in the down position.
    2) The display board is faulty
    3) the controller is faulty
    4) the display board and controller are faulty.

Easy way to tell which one is faulty is to swap the parts with the other drawer till it works…

They are simple enough to fit, don’t take the old one completely off and try to fit the new one, take the old one off from the softener remove old and fit new one bit at a time.
