Re: Zanussi DES959 dishwasher code AL3

Stuck with this and found heater relay on PCB burnt out. bit of soldering and fixed problem. Presume AL 3 is water not heating withing time limit.

Thanks for advice Dave, will get her to look. I think this is quite an old unit and may not be viable repair if past experience of these glass tops is anything to go by

Re: Bosch Fridge Freezer KGV3104GB/04 FD 7903

This sounds very much like a problem I have with a bosch KGV3104GB/03 which I think is almost Identical. I to have changed the module (P/no 265109 in this case) The problem still exists. The module is live up to point that triac should switch compressor. I thought it was a module problem initially because fast freeze switch did not switch compressor either and I thought this switch overrode the thermisters. My thinking now is that the thermisters are at fault but have no idea what temperature/ resistance readings should be. Looking at where thermister wiring disappears into cabinet they appear to be moulded into foam. Are these replacable? or is there a mod kit?

The thermisters in this case are 4 wires down to three at the pcb connection ie one is common to both thermisters. Two crimped together behind inner cover.

I will be interested in outcome and info on this one.

Re: Indesit board connections Fault codes?

    Hi all,

Went round this morning to count pulses. After intial setup there are three pulses every 10 secs. I believe this may suggest thermistor, I did check this the other day. I can’t remember value but it was not short or open.

    Thanks

    Re: Indesit board connections

thanks for advice, It was flashing at 10 sec intervals but not sure how many. You can guess i’m not used to these machines. Will get back and have a count.

    Thanks alot

    Re: Indesit board connections

Continuing saga of this machine. Sorted out edge connection, closer look in better light showed plug and board are numbered anyway. However now have different problem. Orginally, so client advised, was the motor was erratic. I couldn’t test as he had already dismantled board. Motor seemed to meter out ok and QER confirmed board had failed and was not repairable. When new module fitted the timer now rotates constantly after the initial flashing as it sets up. It even does this from an “off” position. It also does a hot fill and pumps out at same time. I’m getting baffled by this now, I’ve checked machine over, but dont’t know what I’m missing, tried resetting but problem re ocurres.Any idea’s? Could I have wrong module. One supplied is P/No C00093158 and machine is W143UK s/no 303255112. Any advice appreciated.

    Great site.

    John
