ParticipantThanks again gent’s,
I’ve emailed you, Dave…. thanks for the information!
Regarding the capacitor, Murv, I generally struggle to conclusively test such components, and am intrigued that this could cause the fault.(“an electrical spike?”)

Participantp.s. It would be good to obtain the precise TOC but I’m struggling to locate such.
Do you know who makes them, as Electrolux unhelpful?

ParticipantGood morning Dave,
Thank you for your assistance again.
Yes, it’s a one shot TOC and it makes sense to replace just that with the correct/approved item, especially if I cannot find the reason why it has fused, and blows again.
I’ll revisit, and try and find reason for TOC popping.
Thanks again,jonty

ParticipantYes, replacement heat pump remains fine.
I still suspect the board, but would like a wiring diagram….

ParticipantHello Dave,
I suspect the board, as the wiring continuity from board to heat pump is fine.
There is technical information/bulletin regarding testing Bosch group heat pumps electrically, but I don’t have the details for this type….

ParticipantGood evening Dave,
The problem is I replaced the heat pump about four weeks ago, due to a no heat fault.
However, the fault has recurred, and I suspect the power module/board.
I feel the heat pump, board, and associated wiring is very difficult to test conclusively, due to some of the tiny connections etc, and would like a wiring diagram to try and see what all these connections relate to.
The replacement heat pump is a genuine Copreci part, and wiring continuity from board to heat pump all fine.

ParticipantThanks again Dave,
Yes, the Technical Bulletin you kindly sent looks very much like the problem.
Customer away for the weekend, although I’ve explained the probable cause.

ParticipantThanks for the info; Dave.
There aren’t any progress led’s, just the “beep code.”
The dishwasher will not start at all, and I wonder if it would sense a fill fault, even though it doesn’t start/drain?
I’ll revisit and carry out some more checks….

ParticipantReplaced drain pump today, and all fine.
Ran dishwasher on a couple of cycles, and drained perfectly when monitored.
Thanks again Davejontymox
Participantpps I gather there is a diagnostic mode, and wonder what the sequence is for this model and whether it will help?

Participantp.s. it would great if I knew what values should be expected between each motor terminal…

ParticipantThanks Dave,
I’ll replace the drain pump which may be weak and let you know in due course if that cures the fault.

ParticipantI’m obviously cracking!
I have two faulty integrated dishwashers at the moment – one is indeed a Neff, which is the Model Number I quoted above. (and has a noisy drain pump)
The problematic Bosch E-Nr: SMV53L00GB/41 is the one in question!
Sorry, Dave.
