thanks for the update franz,in my case the vacuum had the old unsleeved pins but was fitted to a machine that would have come with sleeved pins.kladave

customer phones up(we are on the phone bt call minder kicks in)and they leave a message,then they phone up before we retrive the message can’t these people wait 👿
then for those who have got bt call minder the phone rings with the message.dave

thanks for reply simon46,customer has thrown away pump.He brought the machine in to our workshop being honest i would have expected to find a short somewhere.

us too! we also find customers in such a hurry and until the customer drops off the inspection charge the product will not get looked at.

do you know the strange thing is,that these so called pat test companies have passed this vacuum for the last THREE years one even put their passed sticker on the plug itself dated march 2005 :rolls:
