Be careful, universal does not mean that they will fit anything only that they will fit a range of products often made by a couple of manufacturers and rebranded as many.
If it’s a dual motor hood you have it’s probably an Elica if it’s domestic and those motors will not fit it.

It’s a dual compressor model and thermostat model so it could be the stat or compressor, no way to know without testing.

Can you give us the full model number please as that’s not valid or only partial as there are multiple models with 375 in them? There will be some letters before and after I’d imagine.

You have to ask the obvious…
If BG wants shot and, there have been rumours for years that they have, why?
The one big reason would be, it doesn’t make money.
Otherwise, why get rid of it?
So, if it’s not making any money and rumour has it that BG have been bleeding cash from their ESD for years and years then, why buy it?
Pay BG to take a loss-making division of headaches off them? Yet worse if you have to take the staff as well under TUPE, then it’s really a pig in a poke.
Makes no sense.

It’s a thing with R600a systems primarily from what I’ve seen over the years and there are cures like injecting oil to the insulation round pipework and some other stuff that’s been tried but nothing seems to cure it.
Most any cabinet can demonstrate it and even getting another make, replacing it or whatever may well not solve the issue and, I’ve heard worse than in that recording.
Unfortunately, due to environmental stuff, you now cannot (or shouldn’t be able to) buy a non-R600 system.
