Like I said, you need to figure it out. Instructions are not included.

It’s basically just an electric pump in an enclosed case so, if it jams the answer to that is yes and it’s not always an electrical problem as it’s an electro-mechanical device.

Trouble being of course, you can’t inspect it beyond the outer casing to see what the problem might be.

All the PTC/relay does is fire it up to run and serve as a protection device, that’s about it really.

    Re: Beko DW603

There is a safety stat built into the heater itself or should be, then another thermistor or thermostat depending on the setup to control operating temperature.

Yes, if memory serves that safety stat is a one shot one so, if it goes, new element.

    Re: Beko DW603

I have no clue how you’re measuring that but, using live mains is a very bad and dangerous practice that we cannot condone on here or someone will end up killing themselves!

There’s no call to do it with mains power at all.

    Explained here: http://www.wikihow.com/Test-a-Heating-Element

But that open of the stat on it open and, it’s in technical terminology, knackered.

No odds, the hot will probably only open on the first fill after pre wash on a hot cycle. Won’t affect that.

A blowout diagram is often all you get.

Yes though, pretty much it’ll need to come apart.

Re: Hotpoint WM. Conditioner not taken

Because it’ll just get the most pressure on the valve the opens first, the other will play second fiddle if there’s not enough pressure to give the force required.

Check the thermistor for dirt, shorting etc before anything else.

    Don’t think LG are sealed.

Samsung maybe but, wouldn’t buy one or recommend them.

Miele, although there are rumours swirling that they too are doing the sealed tub thing now or, soon.

Vestel made machines, many can be split that I’ve seen, so far.

Apart from that, you’ll probably struggle.

Shown as item 526 2 on the attachment, maybe top on that one which is unusual.
