I’d looked at that sort of thing before along with Facebook, Twitter etc and I really don’t think that they lend themselves to this sort of use.
Problem is that not everyone can be bothered with it pinging all the time and, by the time they do look the person that may have been able to help you misses the message as it’s scroll, scroll, scroll, scroll… etc to get to it.
Very few people will be bothered to scroll through loads of static.
IM services have their place for sure, I use them but for this, I really don’t think it works.
Might do for one company with a few field techs but as a mass media tool, not so much.

It won’t work.
The pump and motor will never work on the wrong voltage frequency.
I’ve seen this before many times as mentioned previously on ships etc and you can convert them but, it’s a new motor and pump as well as voltage control board if used or it will never be right.

Re: WTA 2017 conference
As anyone at the conference (technically yesterday but still today for me) knows there were a couple of announcements made that WTA members will be keen to know more about.
Honestly, we’ve been so slammed organising the conference and so on that we’ve not gotten to finalising all the docs etc for the registration and health check.
We will do so in due course, promise we will ASAP.
But please for the time being can you keep any conversation in the WTA forum as it is exclusive to WTA members and I doubt non-members will be all that interested as they cannot participate in it. So, little point in posting in the general forum etc about it.
For members that missed the meeting… shame on you! 😉
Just kidding, you’ll get the skinny on what I’m on about shortly in the WTA forum or on the member’s mailing list.

Thanks for checking it though but I have a fear that he may be right for the future as it’s a bit odd to claim something like that and look for one that isn’t. Just doesn’t feel like a spam thing or whatever.
Mind you, maybe we’re getting punked by fake news… seems to be all the rage with the kids these days. 😉
