KeymasterRe: Fridge ices up and soaks everything
If it’s a self defrosting wet wall fridge then there’s a drain hole.
No other possibility.

KeymasterRe: LIEBHERR Fridge / Freezer problems
Apologies, I missed the reply notification.
There are three sensors in that particular machine that you can see detailed here:
Item numbers 250, 260 and 270 are all sensors.
In order they are; air sensor for fridge, evaporator sensor for fridge then the air sensor for the freezer.
I can’t tell you what one will be causing the problem I’m afraid.

KeymasterRe: Smeg DWI 710 E1 trips RCD after 2/3 minutes
It may be okay in that case.
Yes, like a light bulb but the most common reason for an element to go in that way and, one of the most common things we see on heating elements in appliances is a leak to earth. If that happens when you test like that it may well look to be okay but, it ain’t.

Afraid so if it’s shorted to earth then that’ll pop the trip every time.

Probably just the sensor that’s a problem.
If you give the service number I’ll be able to tell you what one etc.

It’s *probably* the heater in that case, can’t guarantee it obviously but it’d be my No1 suspect.
To test you’re looking for it being dead shorted, open or down to earth. The first two you can do with a multi-meter easily enough the latter and earth loop tester, not so easy.
Cheap version of the heater in it is this:

Very simple affair so easy enough to test as much as you can when you get to it which, if memory serves, is from underneath and you’ll see the heating element around the base inside the machine.

Try it on a cold rinse and see if it trips. If it does then it’s likely to be the main wash motor, cap or something like that.
If it doesn’t trip on a rinse only then it’s likely to be heater or stats.

That isn’t the model number, looks like the first four digits of a 12NC number.
Most of the guys will need the full model and/or PNC to look it up.

KeymasterRe: Looking for a Baumatic BMC450SS Part Number
Sadly most of the parts for that machine appear to be obsolete and I can’t even find that one listed let alone any other info on it.

If it’s frost free it’ll run 80-90{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the time it’s plugged in.
If non-frost free then it’ll be about 65-80{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the time it’s on.
So it’s all too probably not faulty.

In other words, the fridge ain’t your problem.
The workstations probably are though as they’re going to be burning more than ten times that alone before you look at anything else and, they are running all the time from what you say.

Clear the drain hole at the back, it should be explained in the handbook.
That’s the problem.

KeymasterRe: Leisure LEVC54W Electric Cooker Double Oven element repl
Yes some you can only get to from the back of the oven. It’s fairly obvious once you get to it.
Yes the top oven will still be safe enough to use in the meantime.
If the wiring has not been touched then no, you won’t need to insulate the terminals. If they have been you’d better.
While replacing the heating element the cooker should be removed from the mains supply so, no insulation required while there’s no power to it.

Normal fridge freezer, no way it’s using that.
I am well aware of energy monitors, normal, smart and automated systems such as Z-Wave, etc. and it will give you a good indication if not 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} exact.
Or you’re paying way too much for electricity which is more likely by the sound of it.

Even faulty, I doubt very much it’d even get close to using that amount of energy.
Unless of course it’s the size of a garage.
