Other than the info given, which is from Beko, not really unless one of the guys has done one and knows any more.

I’ve not used it but yes, the Aldi stuff is reported to be good.

    Ariel is good.

Ecover I don’t rate. Never found it to have decent performance.

If you mail Dave on spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk he’ll advise what one it is if you need it and, probably get you a decent price on it.

If it’s gunked up that’s what I’d do, bluntly, life’s too short. 😉

Yep, if that fill chamber matrix is full of crud it’ll do weird stuff.

    Thankfully there’s one version.

Unthankfully, there’s a change on the serial number and two different regulators are used.

Even less helpful all of them are no longer available from Electrolux although, they are likely to be standard affairs so they should be able to be replaced.

The later single zone one will use this part:

    https://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/3114550 … rol-switch

It may well be physically different.

The early one I can’t find a replacement for at the moment, not in the office.

Re: How to remove ceramic top on Zanussi ZCE 7700X

    Possible. Unusual but possible.

The regulator is the small switch affair at the control panel the control knob goes onto. That controls the energy to the plate hence the term, energy regulator.

You will need the correct one though, do you have the PNC/Product number off the cooker and I can check the correct one and any alternates?

Re: Kenmore {whirlpool] side x side Feezer thermostat

The freezer should maintain a mean temp of -18?C normally as that’s the optimal storage temperature. It’ll jump higher and lower as it cuts in and out but, that’s what it should be.

A fridge, usually, will run +2?C to +5?C, there’s some variance in that but not too much.

Your problem with cut in and out values is that they are often set by the temp at the evaporator or inlet and not the value you need in the cavity, it’s confusing I know.

So if you look at a bog standard VT9, like this one:

    https://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/vt9-uni … thermostat

The cut in and outs are not the values in the cavity, i.e. not what the temp in there will be but it’s the temps it cuts in and out at where the phial is.

If wired correctly and it’s always on, probably a regulator fault.

    Other than that, wiring.

I see what you mean, totally obsolete now and it’s a really odd stat.

I can’t even get the cut in/out temps for it so I’ve no idea what you could swap it to, if it’s even possible as some those were pretty unique.

    Re: beko fridge/freezer Model CDA539FW-2

I don’t know, I’ve never done one personally.

Seems that it’s detailed out pretty well with photos in that support article though. It is in usual manufacturer speak though in that, they expect the reader to have an understanding of the unit.

On the diagrams they don’t even show those as a spare part, I imagine that the intent was that they should never need to be changed but a lot of manufacturers have found out, that just ain’t so. Due to that though, I can’t even tell you where they are on any particular cabinet, I’d guess you just have to following the wiring to locate them, that’s all I’d do.

Usually, sides off, back off, control panel off….

More or less a strip down of it.

Re: Timer wiring for Proline TDC6a ( Hotpoint TDC32s?)

Your bigger issue is that Proline was a brand name for Comet and, since they no longer exist, there’s no official support at all.

Someone might know or have old info kicking about but, I wouldn’t be too hopeful. 🙁

Re: £358 washing machine costs £1092

They were, even the bookies couldn’t keep up apparently!

One of the guys here locally does rental machines and I keep telling him they should take BH on full on but, people think the deal from these legal robbers is better. Apparently it’s “cheaper” weekly or something like that and the credit checking a bit less rigorous by BH.

So just as the report says, people that really can’t afford the gear they get, get it.

    Pretty grim.
