    Re: heating element resistance values

Support and tickets is working fine, no issues known.

The problem is Evren, they change parts all the time as I said before and it is very hard to keep information bang up to date on thousands upon thousands of lines when you don’t get any notification whatsoever most of the time. It’s only major changes that you *might* get a heads up for.

All parts should be correctly identified using make, model, prod code/serial leading to a part number and that should be correct and suitable, even if altered. Do it any other way and there is significant probability of error.

Best asking Dave Evren, I know he looked into it for you a fair bit but it’s probably been changed, they do it all the time and drives everyone nuts. 🙁

Sorry Mohamed, due to copyrighting and all that we are not allowed to distribute service manuals, common to all I’m afraid.

It is more than possible there’s a fault with it though as what you have there is not shown specifically as an error code nor as part of the service menu.

I’d say you’d probably done as much as you can and it’s time to log a warranty call for it as, it should be in warranty.

Yup still available and surprising cheap as well, we list it here:

Dunno if anything else would fit and TBH I wouldn’t chance it as if it moves, it’ll score then blow.

Re: How to Reset Beko ASL141S Fridge Freezer Display

Okay, holding both those set buttons for two second should put it into service mode.

Then press the freezer set button to the left four times.

    That enters the “password”. :rolls:

Step 1: Buzzer will be active for a short time. After that, LEDs will illuminate for 0.5 sec and go off for 0.5 sec.

Step 2: When any button is pressed, Step 1 is terminated. Software version is shown on the FF compartment and the revision info is shown on FRZ compartment as follows.

Step 3: Freezer Set and Fridge Set buttons are briefly pressed on simultaneously, selected components are started to be driven. By pressing the Select button, selected components are made “On” and Off”. At this step, the Fans, Blue led and Illumination LEDS are turned on.

Step 4: When any button is pressed, sensor is started to be shown.

It should then come out of the service menu after you cycle through the sensor readings although you may need to press and hold the set buttons again for a few seconds.

Far as I can tell, that’s about all you can do.

Re: How to Reset Beko ASL141S Fridge Freezer Display

I think, somehow, you’ve gotten it into the service menu.

I can’t be completely sure as the info I have on that machine covers multiple display types and to be honest, it’s a tad confusing the way it’s written. Probably better if you were stood in front of it to a degree.

I think pressing the Select and Set button simultaneously for three seconds should get it back to rights but as I said, not 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} sure.

If that doesn’t do it post a pic of the panel and I or someone will try to figure it out.

Uhm, looks like that cooker was made in Spennymoor, so it’s a good number of years old I place that one round about 2007/8.

The inner glass on the main oven is 3491567016.

Here’s the problem, I think that’s a Bosch made one for Moben who owned the Tecnik brand name completely.

Mr Bosch, in a tantrum when Moben went pop I expect, removed all tech info, parts info and all else pretty much trying to erase the machines from memory.

That kinda leaves owners like you up the proverbial creek and us unable to tell you much at all.

Re: For a clearer understanding watch this..

Martin, businesses do things for primarily financial reasons.

    Legal sometimes if they’re forced.

There’s any number on your list there that are purely financial decisions with bog all to do with the EU although, it could be argued that the EU employee legislation such as the Working Time Directive could have forced some of it financially.

Point is, a lot isn’t directly the European Parliament that caused it. Perhaps an unintended consequence of their actions but not intentional as, why would they force jobs to move outside the EU? That makes absolutely no sense as it’s not in their interest no matter how you slice it.

The UK is an expensive place to make stuff, hell most of the EU is when you compare it with elsewhere. But all the people in the EU still want all the stuff they buy as cheap as they can get it, companies respond to that.

Re: SIEMENS WT46W56CGB iq700 possible faulty fan

I doubt many, if anyone has any experience with those as they are low volume and most are likely to still be under a Siemens warranty.

There is a fan on the main drive motor and a small, looks to be a low voltage one, at the front. I presume the front one does as you think so, if the room was cooler then it’s all too likely it will need to draw in cool air less.

If you can move the drum up and down the bearings will be gone.

And if I’m right, best advice is to start shopping for a replacement.

    I actually watched that Martin.

Some fair points. Some not so much. In my opinion.

So far as it affects the industry though, after some yapping about it all…
