The most probably reason is too much powder for the load, it alters, it’s not supposed to be the same on every load.
Overloading can also cause it.
Poor quality detergent.
Wrong program used.
It is extremely unlikely to be a fault with the machine itself.

No, it’s not really.
I saw the posts but haven’t had time to read all the past week. 🙁

It should draw air in from below, above the cooking area.
A blockage in the vent out could cause that to happen.

That’s Rob Mouser’s company, a friend of mine. A really nice guy.
Great company Jim and if anyone can sort that kind of thing, it’s them.
If they can’t do it, accept defeat. 😉
Link to them here: http://www.plastic-surgeon.co.uk
I think I told you guys about them ages back for sorting many small damages so as to save claiming insurance etc.

Yup. Probably, especially when you include work or industrial incidents and don’t filter just domestic.
Guessing that figure came from the same (or same syndicated story) snippet as this gem was culled from;
“The figures were revealed by the Gas Safe Register, which said it found dangerous appliances in one in six of the 142,507 homes it had inspected over the past five years.”
That doesn’t strike me as good odds. However, who knows how correct that is?
300 injuries reported also.
Oh and the 30 deaths from CO poisoning as well. Something that everyone freaks out about yet, very few have a clue how to even test for let alone sort out if they find an issue or, should I say, find the correct issue.
(Note: these will be primarily domestic incidents as long term or intense exposure in confined space is needed)
NHS figures say, 200 cases, 40 deaths per annum.
But then, virtually every UK home has mains electricity. According to the National Grid only 10.9 million homes have gas, way less than half the 27 million odd homes in the UK so, a little perspective on those numbers could be in order.
And guess what, those 16.1 million households get along just fine without any gas! 😉
Stats, gotta luv ’em. You can debate the meaning all day long with some.
One that cannot be disputed though is that the number of people that repair gas appliances (or much anything else for that matter), are even willing to think about getting Gas Safe registered is minimal and, in light of the general trend I can’t see that getting any better anytime soon… or ever really.
To do a “Martin” the winds of change are blowing and, there ain’t no smell of gas on them.

Generally, unless you use a fan assisted mode with upper and lower in play then yes, only the circular element in energised for fan oven cooking and, that’s the most commonly used method by most people even if the other mode is available.
They’re a bit like light bulbs… some last, some don’t.

If I’m honest and, I get some may well be hacked off… I’ll be glad to see the back of it.
I have to try to be impartial but, that’s hard.
Gas is a royal PITA to everyone.
People get to burn a highly flammable and combustable fuel in their homes that produces noxious gases when not done in *exactly* the correct manner. Delivered via a pipe that has enough to easily blow their home to shreds.
If you proposed that now, you’d be told to get lost, don’t be crazy. Why on Earth would you want something in your house that can poison, kill and blow you up?
So let me ask, those that are opposed to gas being dropped, are you are Gas Safe registered then?
If you’re not, since you’re so keen on gas as a valid fuel, are you willing to shell out the cost to become Gas Safe registered and jump through all the hoops to get that?
If the answer to either is no then, I think that pretty much says it all. 😉

You have an interesting gamble on your hands…
Will you perish due to cold from lack of heating or, will you starve first. 😉
But for gas heating, you need electricity to run the stat, pump and so on anyways so even now, if the power goes out, you haven’t got heating unless you’ve a gas fire and, if that’s got an electric system you’re stuffed there too.
Cooking, buy a camping stove.
Plenty of people have survived just fine for all of creation without gas, mains or LPG, in rural areas all over the UK that are far more liable to experience such conditions and, while it’s a hassle if that happens, the world still turns.

If the terminal block is okay and the safety thermostat is also okay then it sure sounds like it.

Probably the fan element, more info on those here:
http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/help/fix- … ment-notes
Lower and grill elements here:
http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/help/spar … n-elements
Video shows you how to test them and, same principle applies to all.
If you can give me the model or better, the PNC or product code from the oven’s rating plate I can tell you what elements are in it.
