Uhm, yeah… the images aren’t working as yet Jim, we are aware of that one and that should be sorted today at some stage.

KeymasterRe: Fresh Paint
That’ll be a CSS thing no doubt, don’t know what can be done about it but I’ll ask Sudeep to have a look.

KeymasterRe: Fresh Paint
Yeah, period of adjustment as is the norm when things get altered.
It is a lot brighter and, I think, cleaner and more modern in terms of looks.
However it brings a number of advantages.
The first big one is that it allows more a modular approach to many things behind the scenes, improves security and fixes a few known bugs. The big one there being Tapatalk that was creating a problem that affected the performance so, it had to be done anyway.
It’s also going to take a bit of time for me to adjust all the stuff on here as, there’s a ton of things that now need to be updated or refreshed when I get to them.

Yeah, we know about the images and Sudeep will be on that later.
Size changes for different screens so, far easier to use on mobiles and tablets.

KeymasterRe: Serviceforce email wanted
The only ones that may have that would likely be another SF agent covered by the same area manager.
Or Electrolux themselves.

KeymasterRe: type 12150 ref bdw045
Someone’s likely used the same model code then.
Sadly, with PAB no longer in existence it’s very hard to work out what it was, probably a Chinese thing, a Haier or Midea but goodness only knows what. Everything I can find only shows up as Smeg.

KeymasterRe: ISE 1606W fault
Sounds like it thinks there’s an overfill situation.
Blocked pressure hose or overfill pressure switch would be the first things to look at.

KeymasterRe: Whirlpool to do a recall on Hotpoint dryers
I am starting to think that, really, Whirlpool don’t want any help if this proves correct.
Rumour has it…
That the modification requires a special jig to carry out the mend.
This jig will wear out in (WP allegedly say) about 50 uses but some reports suggest a far shorter life. One report only three uses.
WP want the engineers carrying out the mod to pay for this replacement jig, they’ll only supply one FOC.
Yes, you did read that correctly.
For clarity, yes, they do expect you to pay for the required special tooling to carry out a modification to their dryers that have what appears to be an inherent defect.
If true and you are going to be doing these, you’d better suss out the cost of it.
The comments I made are not fit for publication but it involved the words “off”, “right” and could be regarded as a general direction of travel. Among other colourful descriptive phraseology. 😉
