KeymasterRe: Cheap (sorry) washing machine needed
More or less the same vein as here…
indisit-washer-its-way-out-t89290.html
The thing is… what can you really expect for less than the cost of a decent vac or, for that matter even a Dyson?

KeymasterRe: HOW DO YOU TEST IF PCB Gone on BEKO DW450
You can test the switch without power on it.
Terminal one and two should have continuity when the switch is closed. That’s the live and there’s a feed from T2 to the live in on the board, KN1:T1.
5 & 6 are the neutral on the switch, same thing. Goes to KN5:T1.

KeymasterRe: Lavamat w1259
Error 52 is a failure to get a reading from the motor tacho.
So, could be the wiring, tacho itself, the motor or the motor triac on the main board that would cause it.
If the tacho on the motor is open circuit you’ve found the problem but, for that FHP motor, you can’t get the tacho any longer, only a full motor. You really, really don’t want to know the cost of that.

KeymasterRe: BEKO DCU7230 NOT HEATING.
It is a complete heater unit only, it’s the only way that Beko provide the part, listed here:
https://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/2970101 … ment-11414
This sort of thing with full assemblies is increasingly commonplace I’m afraid.
There are no specs whatsoever on the thermostats or NTCs used, as usual merely a manufacturer part number at best where they can be ordered but, in cases like this, there’s simply no info on them at all.
The sum total of the info available is like this:
Replacing the stat/s without knowing that they are correct would be total guesswork and, when you’re talking about something that is or could be a safety concern, nobody’s going to do that.
Sorry but, the only option really is to change the heater assembly.

KeymasterRe: Indisit washer on its way out
With that level of use you really need something pretty robust or, you’re gonna burn through a machine every 18 months to two years most probably.
That means, to be blunt, you’re going to have to spend a bit on it or, accept the above and pay another way.

KeymasterRe: Fresh Paint
Okay, bunch of stuff sorted but still a ways to go. 😕
I’ve removed the moderator listings tonight as, it just looked ugly. I first thought that the mods should have the default avatar changed for the group but then thought, what’s the point really? Shows as site admin or moderator anyway.
Ads and sponsor things all sorted bar one I need to do in the office. All are now dynamic and change size depending on the screen, mobile/tablet friendly basically. Still some tidying to do there but, basically done by Sudeep and myself earlier.
CSS thing with the smilies, not got to that. Doesn’t seem to be a major issue.
Other than the odd silly thing or minor annoyance, all seems good.
And, so far, nobody’s been bitching about it which is the biggest surprise!

KeymasterRe: SHV55M03 GB
For some reason, I’d presume, that the machine hasn’t detected that it’s empty already.
Pressure system being possibly blocked would be the first thing to look at.

Don’s your man for this one but, you’re asking a lot for £400 to be honest.
Hotpoint/Indesit etc, all sealed tanks.
Beko, all sealed tanks.
Electrolux Group, mostly all sealed tanks.
Bosch, either sealed or as good as.
Samsung, rubbish.
For what you’re after start at LG (although it pains me to say it) and go up from there and, if you’ve taken the bearings out in that time and need a large capacity I’m guessing family use, probably a fair bit meaning that most you’ll burn through in a few years if that unless you really some money invest in it.
Or you could get Indesit to replace the tank in it for their fixed fee and likely get a year’s cover as well.

KeymasterRe: Help Needed
No heat at all could be a number of things and, I’ve no access to any technical documentation at all for those so, I don’t know.
All I can tell you is that all heat pump dryers take an age to get heated up, often the initial dry cycle will take two hours, sometimes more. And, the same principals apply in respect to ambient temps etc as they do for refrigeration.
I can also tell you that it likely won’t be an easy fix and that, without access to any info on it probably extremely difficult if possible at all.

KeymasterRe: Help Needed
heat pump dryers don’t get that hot to start with but, it’s the same thing really other than the heat source is a refrigerant unit and not a traditional element.
All else is the same only different.

KeymasterRe: Bosch KGV33NW20G
Not really that much to go wrong on that machine from what I can see. Only thing I can think on is to tip it back slightly on the feet, other than that not a lot.
Door seals have very low powered magnets in them and they don’t loose the magnetism or, I’ve never come across that.

KeymasterRe: tapatalk
It’s not binned but is currently “broken” whilst we sort out the backend stuff on the new template and version of the forums. The new version of Tapatalk is completely different to the old one.
*Hopefully* will be fixed later today after a backup is run.

KeymasterRe: Bosch Fridge Freezer KGV2620
Hi Keiran,
Do you have the full ENR number, there’s multiple variants of that model?
It’s only another few letters and couple of digits on the end of the model you have.
