We will get, usually, between 5 and 10 boxes a day from ASWO.

    Others from other European suppliers.

I can, 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}, without a shadow of doubt tell you it just ain’t that simple. That’s the line that the government might be pushing but it simply is not true and, I have evidence to demonstrate that it is, categorically, untrue. And I am far from being alone in that respect.

20-80{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of all shipments are delayed due to customs checks or, customs clearing at carriers. It makes no odds if they’re a UK company or not, the goods are coming in from outside the UK customs area and can be subject to checks and so on. I deal with some of the customs clearing houses for some, a cost and delay that pre-Brexit just didn’t exist. It does now.

The reason it’s not been utterly catastrophic to date is that the UK is not checking things as it should be as, they can’t, they don’t have the staff or infrastructure to do it. If they did that it’d be a disaster of epic proportions.

It’s worse now due to the volumes ramping up for Xmas and whatnot just due to sheer volumes and, there are delays with all carriers that are not in the least bit helped by strikes etc.

I don’t know what that number is but an explanation of what to look for is here:

Try a capacitor first would be my suggestion but, that’s not an Elica model number so I can’t lookout up for you.

It 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} is Brexit. Despite what anyone might say to the contrary.

And it’s causing delays, more so at the moment as it all ramps up for Christmas.

EDQY1014EVJM doesn’t appear to be a valid model number, is there an ART number on it? WDQY1014EVJM is valid but there are multiple versions.

But, as follows for that, I’ll presume most Hisense models will be the same.

I understand that but a trade account using less that £60 a week is a low use to be running a full on credit account.

I don’t run them for UKW, never have and likely never will as it’s just too much hassle. People not paying on time and the admin time to chase etc on already low margins just makes it a non-starter as you end up making nothing on it at best. And that eats into the accounts that are okay.

I don’t mind doing the odd favour for people I trust but, running actual credit accounts, na, too much hassle to be bothered with.

Even on Rapport there’s been the odd one or two that don’t pay on time, you end up spending an age chasing, often taking months to get paid. One guy a year it took him to settle the bill. It’s just a bloody hassle.

So small, low use accounts, I get why they don’t want them.

For those that get a bill, pay it, move on but get this I completely understand why it seems bonkers. But policies like this are not aimed at them or to cause them harm, it’s blanket as it has to be.

Back in the day, I did in another life and it was a ballache. But you do learn all the tricks. 😉

I kinda get it, not defending it but to keep hundreds of small accounts open that spend very little is costly, it does actually cost money to maintain all that and if the accounts ain’t buying anything or very much it’s hard to justify the cost of running them.

We’d do the same if you think, an agency/contract you give credit to and lower rates as it’s cost effective well, should be at any rate. But the one off or once or twice a year punter won’t get the same rates and probably not even credit terms.

Same thing, different way of looking at it.

Good question and one that nobody seems to have an answer to or, a definitive one.

But my best guess is, it’s being cleared out to liquidate as much as possible either to be sold or shut down.

    Sadly it can be.
Not to put too fine a point on it, that’s a budget cooker with no active cooling fans etc so it’s very likely it will get pretty hot, the allowed temperatures are explained here:
