KeymasterIt is HK2028554 but one hasn’t been ordered to date so there’s no info on it at all, not even a price yet. I can query it but don’t expect a fast answer or delivery of one as if it’s not stocked then it’s coming from China… need I say more?

KeymasterSorry missed this, the upper cavity grill element is:

Or:

Smeg altered it.

KeymasterThat’s the large lower oven one, I didn’t check the other top one.

KeymasterThe centre upper is used on grilling only.
If anything it’s probably the bottom element that’s gone.

KeymasterThey call the modes all sorts of weird stuff, makes no odds what they call them really.
The upper element is in two parts an inner and an outer, the outer is also the upper heating element in static oven mode. And there’s a bottom element below the floor of the inner oven cavity that also heats on that mode and, I suspect the quick heating function.

KeymasterI’d need to know what cooking mode you’re using it on and the ART number of the cooker as well to help. Though I suspect the bottom element or top outer is failed.
Quick preheat, I think, should bring on all elements till it hits temp but I’ve not used that so do not know.
What the ART is explained here:

KeymasterI’d hope that was not the case Don but I’d need to see one to be able to know and say that.

KeymasterWe’ll see.
Now made in Slovenia at a Gorenje plant, not in Sweden and nobody’s seen the new ones from there as yet.

KeymasterNobody makes them now and that BTD1 is not nearly new, probably a decade old.

KeymasterThe sensors are buried in the insulation, there are loads of threads on here about them and trying to find them.
