ParticipantRe: Lamona oven fascia removal
Look behind either side of the facia ,may be 2 screws facing forwards ,remove them and facia will come off revealing screws, lid should just have screws

ParticipantRe: Lamona oven fascia removal
pull it out of the housing ,look at the top panel and it should be obvious what holds it on you do need a certain level of practicality to do it though,i.e. be able to use a screwdriver

What I want to know is what happens if you go to a machine that evidently has belt wear or something similar,do you do the mod and leave the rest ? in which case how can you sign it off as working to spec,or do you cover yourself by putting on the paperwork that the mod is untested ?

ParticipantRe: Smeg WD1 12C
Look in the back of the machine ,look for the top of the suspension strut around there in a grommet you will find a sensor the size of a 10p piece ,check the terminals

ParticipantRe: Smeg WD1 12C
There’s two ,one in the side of the drier duct and the other one is either in the wash element or on the base of the tub

My heart sinks when I walk in and see a Smeg freestanding dishwasher. they have a kick strip that nearly always breaks when removed, usually 3 pcbs in the door as opposed to one a huge weight screwed to the back….. etc.. And without fail a broken telescopic foot at the rear in the centre on a piece of wood

Who will no doubt be getting a letter from Whirlpools Lawyers in due course ,What I don’t understand is why they got an independent engineer to look at there new replacement dryer and didn’t call Hotpoint back in.
One things for sure I wouldn’t have stated the stuff he did on national TV.
