Participantif you are brazing you need to declare it to our public liabilty insurers as you need higher cover, also look on ebay for lokrings , you can create reasonably sensible set of kit for not a huge amount of money

Participanton the left hand side there is a bracket with a microswitch on it with a lever, the lever has flexed and isnt actuating the microswitch for the light, 2 options either “adjust” the lever or replace it part no 075340064

ParticipantIts the element going down to earth, I bet the customer bought a pattern one of the web, I have stopped using pattern elements for that reason, the fact that when you disconnect the element it doesnt trip tells you everything, test it with the back off and as soon as it trips megger the element from either of the terminals to earth, I bet it will be low resistance, then watch as it cools down it will come back in to range

Participantall knobs off, and clock buttons off , 3 screws underneath the facia, remove facia , clock slides off facia dead easy
