When I started 18 yrs ago, we did every make on the market.
I`m a specialist in Domestic Appliances, there is very little difference between makes, one guy I no swears he`d never repair a certain brand, only to find he had been, just different badge on it. :rolls:
Customer choice, to some extent means you don`t see the same make every week.
If I kept to one brand my kids would starve and the bank would own my wife.
I`ve always viewed engineers poorly if they don`t/can`t repair more than a few brands.
You don`t see GP`s refusing to treat only OAP`s.
Washing machines and Dishwashers are probably the most technically challenging, so why not repair a fridge of cooker hood, nothing too testing in that.
If car mechanics can, so can we.

I recently had to update my Gas ACS certs.
The centre was full of ex military and job centre referals from companies who laid off people.
They were doin the 6 week appliance course and some where on a Boiler course.
The appliance course had 28 students. 😯

Los aparatos muestran los códigos de error referidos al motor “F21“ o “E2“.
Motor no gira
Fallo mecánico
Triac cortocircuitado
Si los errores „F21“ o „E2“ permanecen mucho tiempo, el código de error cambia a „F63“.
Incluso después de desconectar y volver a conectar el aparato se mantiene el error. El aparato queda bloqueado y no puede manejarse.

Causas Posibles
Las variaciones de frecuencia de la red eléctrica provocan el error “F21”. Cuando esto ocurre, no es posible la sincronización del módulo de potencia.
Ayuda
Realizar el programa de chequeo. La visualización del display no cambia, por lo que no se tiene confirmación de que se ha activado el programa de chequeo.
Con el programa de chequeo pueden borrarse todas las indicaciones de error, moviendo el programador o finalizando el programa de chequeo.
A continuación, comprobar si la causa del fallo es un componente defectuoso, como el motor, el triac, etc. Si no es el caso, se debe cambiar el módulo de potencia.Re: Bosch WFD2460GB/01 Washing Machine

You have to much voltage my friend.
The PCB is designed to error E if voltage exceeds 280v, board then shuts down only allowing the E in display.
If your getting E and a number such as E1, that indicates ELIN is rogered.
This is copied from BSH literate for E fault.
Check that the net connection is ok.This warning appears when the measured volta-ge on the power grids reaches 280 volts, and cases have occurred in which this warning appears at 250 volts).2. Check the voltage . Certain Neff ovens were produced for clients around London and beyond for Jewish clients who could not touch electrical items for a period around 34 hrs I think.
We were changing lots of Elements in that region as they had them on at 240 degrees for that period of time. :rolls:

Slide some roofing tiles between the tub and base, little bit of pipe around the edges into a drain, job done.
That`ll be £10,000 sir, for re roofing your Dishwasher. 😉

In my humble experience the client who attempts the repair is never happy with you doin it, maybe its a macho thing, but they do tend to try to point out mistakes you hadn`t made.
I take my industry very serious and would never advise anybody to repair an appliance if there not competent, even less if money was involved, others though would sell out for cash, sadly. 😥
