You probably needed to config the module to your model.

Its important piece of paper, BSH site has the coding, but I cannot copy and paste to this site.

You may get it sent to you from BSH or reorder a new module.

Maybe I`m having a bad day.

I was up most of last night with temperature and Ebola symptoms.

But I still for the life of me cannot understand why removing a dryers side panel warrants asking on here.

There isn`t a day that goes by that I don`t have an appliance I`ve never worked on before.

I changed a cooling fan today on a Kenwood range cooker, never done that before.

But lids and panels, there isn`t really many places to put fixings, there either on the top, front, side or bottom. :rolls:

I`m sure others agree with me, they just don`t believe it warrants comment or abuse back.

Mods were fitted around the 2007-08 period that included new sensor and cover with clip to act as heat deflector onto vent channel in the cover.

In the hope it would cure the issue, some may have been missed or its just a component failure.

I suppose removing panels could be difficult and technically challenging.

So I`ll help you.

â–º Remove worktop.
â–º Remove fascia
â–º Remove screws A
â–º Unlock side panel at the rear and pull out of the front holders.

I cannot copy the picture from the service main frame page, Screws A are down the rear and along the top.

Front holders are located at the front.

I thought it was sensible.

If you cannot work out how to remove the side panel what chance have you when you get inside of removing the components. :rolls:

I`ve never in all my yrs been instructed on how to remove panels. 😉

Sorry if it upsets people, but I`d be worried if I took my car to a garage who did not know how to open the bonnet. 😯

Service Force engineers must use this type of tool and not wire cutters.

Twisting the wires once stripped can cause heat, they found out after that was blamed on one incident in a clients home.

Wiggling the connections off can cause them to expand and be loose when reattached, this also was found on another incident in a clients home.

Electrolux connections are extremely tight to remove, this is due to the issues they had in the past.

In 2007 we had a mod kit released for D/W that after another incident in a clients home required a module and connector replacement.

Possible, I don`t know enough of there businesst, just seems strange that two businesses under one group could be so far apart.

A few people I no who rely on JTM arn`t thrilled they own 0800 as well.

From the slagging off I here from JTM agents are they possible making there agents look bad to manufacturers in a hope 0800repair will be awarded the contracts.

Just a thought.

As JTM seem to be horrendously bad at what they do. 😉

Thermal fuse protects the appliance from over heat.

If its OC you have another fault within the heater circuit, changing the fuse may make it heat until it overheats again.
