I love how people post issues then mock us as being simple.

I would recommend you don’t carry out repairs on gas appliances. The pipes used to feed gas to the hobs are easily damaged. Some experience is required.

Check resistance on pump. Remember your ohms law, you can work out what the correct resistance of the pump is by using the info on the pump, you should have voltage and wattage that calculated will give you the resistance and then compare with reading from your meter. The PCB will need that resistance otherwise it will pull up the fault code.

It’s 5 more seconds on start button to activate. The only function children can use adults cannot.

I would need a photo of the appliance, I’ve never been able to assimilate model numbers. Having said that the same principles apply as with any other refrigerator. Check the evap its possible refrigerant cools fridge 1st or a diverter is fitted.

Selector switch burnt out or timer. Maybe worth checking cable box behind the appliance sometimes poor contact can cause wiring to heat up and damage inside the box prevent circuits completing.

    That’s ok then.

Although a major #### ####### supplier installed a range cooker with a flex off a scrapped dishwasher and plugged it into an extension lead that was then serviced/repaired by 2 separate repair companies over a 5 yr period before the resulting fire removed the labels.

It would be nice if peeps read the labels.

Not even to assess if a plug fitted to a cooker is correct when no installation instructions are present.

Re: Whirlpool ART 477/4 Fridge poor cooling

If it’s an air blown fridge the freezer maybe over iced preventing air circulation into the fridge. This happens when defrost cycle is not working. This happens due to sensor failure, heater failure or control failure. If your evaporation is not over iced it could indicate a fan failure or control failure of components used to divert the air into the fridge when req via the fridge sensor, which could be faulty and informing the control that the fridge is too temp when it is not. All those need to be assessed using a meter.
