Hard wired like this metal pin for a fuse……?

Takes away the inconvienence of having to replace fuses.

Re: NAC (ADVERT THREAD: IGNORE IT)

As for NAC, nowhere on the site does it state in their terms what happens if the client does not accept your charges.

I suspect you get nothing for your time calling to the client, diagnose etc.

Its also unclear if after you accept the repair and call, that if that client does not accept the cost with parts do you still have to pay NAC the refferal fee.

I also suspect clients dont want multiple businesses all calling giving quotes on different days.

Its current web present appears more geared to recruiting people rather than clients.

The current concept does not seem to be very user friendly, i’m not a fan of fixed price repairs, but at least you know what your getting when you part with your cash.

What i suspect is happening is a small 2nd tier contract coverage has been negotiated and NAC gets paid twice.

Martin, you don’t currently run much of a business at present.

Please point out what you dont undetstand about asking these questions of how NAC operates on the thread asking how NAC operates.

Not that you would be the least bit it interested anyway except your wishing to drag out this thread like the proverbial wind-up merchant I suspect you are.

I dont believe anybody has answered either.

So enlighten me as to how NAC can guarantee a client will pay a bill when until a repairer confirms that fault and any parts that are required.

Re: NAC (ADVERT THREAD: IGNORE IT)

Its the up front bit that l have issue with.

When people ring to book a call one question they usually always ask is how much a repair will be.

Now NAC needs to answer that with some degree of accuracy. They will have agreed my charge to the client, but not my charge for the part.

So are clients free from all charges when you turn up and tell them £150.00 and they then refuse the repair.

Leaving you the repairer out of pocket and no way to argue as you didn’t vet the call and NAC out of pocket as they haven’t charged the client.

Re: NAC (ADVERT THREAD: IGNORE IT)

Whats the saying, oh yeah “God must love idiots, he made so many”.

There will always be fools, watchdog will continue and like the stupid clients we laugh about there are just as many stupid so called engineers that cannot put 2 & 2 together.

But at least thanks to the internet, although it makes it easier for people to get sucked into these new concepts, it also allows people to speak freely and fore warn people of the likely impending cash/client departure.

I’ve been threatened by people many times in my line of work, comes with the terittory, the vast majority has been from people that are both desperate and guilty.

The current crop of crap l read here makes me believe that whilst NAC is not ripping people off it certainly isn’t good for the majority of our kind of business.

One business may well believe it helps them to get all the business in that area without having the hassle of adverts etc etc. If Jaimes intellect is real, then that is the ideal business for NAC. Until something goes wrong, then l suspect holes will appear in the concept, not that anybody will care to listen.

What has recently happened to aide, (l believe he had the idea of NAC years ago and come here to UKW originally to get into the back office as a mod), is the sudden realisation that all internet based businesses which rely on high volume traffic, to be popular enough to make money there is an age old expensive issue of marketing nationally.

Which is why if you google an appliance repair NAC is nowhere to be seen nationally.

You need money, lots quickly and repairers, kinda catch 22. Unless you try to convince peeps to sign up & wait for the work to flood in.

But beware, your paying for the referral, if the client does not like your charge NAC still get you to pay them £20.00. I suspect also that clients will demand an alternative from NAC, l’m sure NAC will then charge another business £20.00. The potential income from one client to multiple agencies could be a nice little earner.

Think about it before we get the excuse. Don’t forget XRay, one of the managment has history.

Re: NAC (ADVERT THREAD: IGNORE IT)

Mr Cohen needs to view his own list of registered businesses.

To promote a business in the hope it will grow is one thing, to promote a business as being greater than its current position is beyond belief and its current position on here leads everyone to conclude that NAC and its current untracable management team is possibly either fraudulent or more likely the business is the size of someones IQ and there ego is the greater measure.

    Re: CURRYS KNOW HOW

One day Frankiestein decided to make a new monster.

This time he would make it improved.

So the head, brain, ears and eyes would remain in a room within frankies home.

The body without the head would remain as usual but all the arms and legs would be controlled by their owm mini brains. That way all could be controlled and work perfectly.

It was completed quickly and sent out into the world.

Then it happened. The small brains could not communicate with the others so the body ends up twerking whilst having an epileptic episode.

The big brain is completely confused, its been built to operate in this way, frankies way and frankie, well his only solution is to shout and blame ever part of the body.
