Re: Whirlpool ARC5571 Replacing Freezer Door Seal

    Hi there

must door seals are very easy to replace unless the seal is part of the door but if you have just a door seal then just pull the door seal away from the door and it should come away from the door but if the door seal looks like its part of the door then you will need to replace the door.

if you get the seal off then just push the new seal on starting from a corner and press the seal on all the way round, the key thing to remember is when you are done, is to make sure that the seal forms to the frame all the way round and check for gaps when the door is closed

if there are gaps then just press the seal in the area where there are gaps and keep checking it in the day and it will start to form.

    Hi there

If you have replaced the door lock then there is only 2 things left to give you this error code and that would be the wiring to the control module or the control module itself unless you have the wrong interlock fitted.

    Hi there

the bars are fault code related. you will need to check which bar is lit to find out what the fault code will be.

    Hi there

To test to see if the heater has blown, first turn the mains power off or by there fuse box(fuse box would be better)
you will need a multimeter and set it to ohms, open the back panel and disconnect the 2 leads going to the grill and put the multimeter leads on the grill connections, if you get a reading then the grill is working but if you get no reading or a reading that jumps around then you will need to replace the grill element.

    Hi there

Because of the way some ppl cook there food, it can get a little damp and greasy. you should not use you over tell you get this sorted out as it will damage the heating element.

switch off you oven by the mains first.

Inside the over there should be a cover, covering the fan.
unscrew the cover and just try and move the fan with your hand to see if it runs freely. there can stick a little if there have not be used for some time.

once you have done that, just turn the mains back on and see if the fan will start but make sure there is nothing blocking the fan.

    let me know what happens?

    Hi there

I would say check the drain pump as this is the first step for any dishwasher. unplug the machine before checking.
the inlet vavle would not make a grinding noise

    Hi there

Your Machine is controlled by the PCB which is a compute that tell the motor which way to turn. you will need to replace this and that will sort the problem out. but shop around for the right model as they are not cheap to replace.
