both decent machines but the WAE is only 1000 spin speed where as the wfl is 1200, the WAE is a lot newer though and is just in guarentee so you can test the hack out of it to be sure its ok and get it sorted if required.

hi. as washtronics quoted, if you know the FD (german for manufacturing date) number then add 20 to the first 2 numbers but ignore the first number if it turns into a 5 digit number, the last 2 numbers are the month.

    IE 7904 means 9904 or april 1999, 8401 means (1)0401 therefore made in jan 2004, 9108 means (1)1108 or august 2011,

    hope this helps

    http://www.bosch-home.co.uk

click the link for important saftey notice for dishwasher and input the full model number and the FD number(4 digit code under the model number probably starting with 8). i believe these are covered under the scheme (going by the sgs43c02gb/35 number on the first post). if so you will get the module and call out free then it may be possible to see what blew the module (ask the BSH technician).

most likely cause is the heater check it for continuity and replace if needed.

when it starts second part of cycle, does it fill then wash pump or just wash pump? at end of first part is water hot or cold? is the thermostat and NTC on the heater ok? seems a strange one,

Re: Bosch SGS4302 – no LEDs & not working

not the case, the repair is for appliances up to 12 (twelve) years old, if its not covered then it may be at the point of uneconomical but most of our applainces last 15+ years if looked after correctly. anyone who buys an appliance and is happy with 3 years clearly isnt buying bosch as we expect at least 10.

the dishwasher has leaked into the base and this is the flood protection switch doing exactly what it is designed to do,

repair the leak and all will be ok

Re: Bosch integrated dishwasher SGV 43A03 water not heating

there is usually 3 reasons for these not to heat

1 heater fault. test the heater with a meter to check this.

2 module not sending power to heater. remove module and visually check to see if any bad/dry joints.

3 not enough water getting into appliance therefore not activating the heater, remove and clean pressure chamber.

    hope this helps

sounds like the module, check the bosch website to see if its the one covered by a recall.
