    Re: Neff dishwasher wheels required

    hi

    there are 2 part numbers

066320 roller set. these are for the bottom basket. as far as i can see these are a set of 2 ie a pair

056247 roller set these are for the top basket and appear to be a set of 1

you can order them from bosch or maybe from this site

you can contact bosch via web or phone http://www.bshappliancecare.com (click on quickfinder) or 08705 543210

Re: siemens dishwasher error code S2

    hi

S2 is something to do with the factory test

try turning it off then back on using the on/off switch

how old is the machine? i believe it will be less than 2 years old

if this is the case then give bsh applinace care a call (08705678910). they will be able put you through to someone in product advise who may be able to help over the phone or send someone out under warranty(2 years mininum with siemens possibly 5 years)

Re: BOSCH WFP 3300 FAULT CODE F01

    hi

fault code F01 means water intake greater than 4 mins, fault in aquastop

as gegsy says check for water comming through the hose and make sure pressure is there (more than a dribble)

if the machine seems to be filling ok it is possibly a blocked pressure chamber/hose

    Re: Neff S4453 completely dead.

    hi

do you have the full model number, ie s4453b0gb/07

a common fault for no power is the capacitor at the end of the mains lead, the power then goes to the on/off switch

UNPLUG THE MACHINE then check the capacitor then check for continuity from capacitor to the on/off switch

these are not fun to take apart so consider calling an engineer if its not a simple fix

Re: hotpoint VTD65 dryer… drum problem

    hi

these machines have had many modifications over the last 18 months

the basic problem is the drum is very close to the back panel (about 3-4mm)

these machines are very flimsy in construction so the first thing is to make sure the machine isnt twisted in any way(nothing heavy on top) and is level.

the modification that i found worked best was to fit a set of sticky backed felt pads to the rear panel of the drum where it is rubbing (sorry i cant remember part number but they used to come as singles so you will need to order 4 of them)

the repair dosnt stop it rubbing it just puts somthing between the drum and rear panel to stop the noise

the longer drum shaft kit never seemed to work very well

    hi

its unlikley to have damaged the machine

i would check to see if the sides have been dented or if it has damaged any of the kitchen units just in case

i would also let the fitters know what happened so they can get it right next time

    Re: Hotpoint Ultima WMA64

    hi

if you remove the drawer from its compartment and look inside the compartment you will see that the bottom is very flat (very slight slope to the back of the machine)

this must be very clean at the back of the slope (normally scummed up with powder) otherwise the water cant runaway fast enough and runs out the front

you can also turn the water pressure down (as mentioned by iadom) or you can adjust the front feet up a little so the slope is a little steeper towards the back

but the best cure is to keep the compartment clean(again as mentioned by iadom)

as for the water in the conditoner area being full of water it probably just needs a good clean

    Re: Whirlpool not dispensing conditioner

    hi

does the machine stop in the middle of the program when it should be filling (indicating a valve fault) usually when on a rinse rather than the first fill

or you can test both cold inlet valves by trying a prewash (fills in prewash compartment) then a main wash (fills in main wash compartment)

if both valves are working then it sounds like a blockage, as these machines dont have a seperate valve for conditoner it relys on opening both valves at the same time to take conditoner

remove the drawer from its compartment and look inside the compartment at the top, you will see loads of holes these need to be really clean where the water for the conditioner comes from(an old toothbrush works best)

then look at the drawer, remove the syphon (white plastic tube like thing that just pops off) and make sure the hole where the water runs out of the conditoner compartment is clean, also make sure the syphon itself is clean inside, when you have cleaned the drawer test it buy filling the conditoner compartment with water from the tap until it starts to run away on its own

    this should cure the problem

Re: Bosch WFL2063 Drum full- door can be opened?

    hi

most machines work with the same principal today (just an electric door lock)

with a machine that locked when full of water and buy an electrical door lock it was difficult to get your clothes out when the pump got blocked. in the case of hotpoints the pump was accessed from underneath or the back.

it was also difficult for an engineer to get the machine out of its location to repair it as it is extreemly heavy when full of water

Re: Neff 1452 oven elements not working

    hi

normally neff ovens are pretty reliable

the most common element changed on these is the ring element (483636 changed to 493065)as the fan oven is the most commonly used function on these ovens, but they have just changed them to 499003 which indicates they have had a problem with the 493065

they did have a faulty batch of these elements about 2-3 years ago

as for the grill element (297516) if it is O/C i would return it to the supplier for a replacement under the guarentee (1 year with all neff parts)

Re: Bosch WFL2063 Drum full- door can be opened?

    hi

the only thing that holds the door shut is the door lock (interlock)and this is controlled by electricity. these machines do not have a door lock that is controlled by the water level

if the machine is finished (or believes its finished)it will allow you to open the door weather it is full of water or not

if you are half way through the prog and you turn it off it will unlock the door (aftre about 2 mins)

    hi

if you goto http://www.bshappliancecare.com then click on spare parts and click on the quickfinder application it will let you type in the model number and then look at expolded diagrams of machines. this should allow you to look at how the plastic pieces go back on the hinge.

i would not recomend soldering the dry joint up to fix the board. i would purchase a new one.
