Re: TECNIK 795 / NO POWER PROBLEM

    hi

it sound like a module problem, there are many versions ranging from £64 to £83 plus vat

can we have the full number from the machine

the number should be stamped on the stainless steel at the top of the door just buy the door lock (very difficult to see)

    is this a tecknic TKD795/2 or TDK795/3

it may be marked SE6TIE1GB/?? or SE6TIE2GB/?? instead of the tecknik numbers

    hi

bosch part number for pump is 144305

before purchasing a new pump remove the filter and run machine on drain while looking at the pump to see if it is working ( keep fingers out ).

if it is it making the sound you mention (quiet buzzing) the buzzing usually indicates it is trying to work and something is stopping it. have a good look at the impellor (white or green cross like thing) it is not uncommon for something to wrap aroud the back of it and jam it up (usually an elastic band or string), do not remove the impellor as they wil not go back on, you would have to strip the pump down to remove the string/elastic band.

    hi

there is no reset switch on these machines

it has 3 stats on it and any one could have gone, as could the heater

if you are a novice as you say i would advise you call an engineer

Re: Bosch washing machine failing to empty

    hi

spin + rinsing lights flashing mean pumping period greater than 6 mins

usually this is a blocked pump but you say you have checked the filter

double check the hoses to and from the pump just in case there is a blockage in them

when the machine sticks is it full of water or empty?

if it stops and it is empty it may be a pressure sensor problem, depending on your ability it may be worth calling en engineer.

    hi

my limited experience with these machines has been a leak from a hose connected to the circulation pump, this resulted in a new pump being fitted to cure the problem.

fortunatly most (if not all) of these machines come with a 5 year parts guarentee so the customer saved 120 quid.

they are basicly a whirlpool machine inside

give CDA a call and see if you can get your own engineer from this site to fix it or does it have to be a CDA engineer

    hi

no these are the ones i can find and they fit the fridge compressor but wont fit on the freezer compressor due to the bracket for the cover

the one that was on the machine was about the 1 inch by 1 inch by 1/4 inch and only had 2 pins that connect to the compressor ( 😳 but like an idiot i have lost it otherwise i would take a picture of it and post it here 😳 )

    many thanks for looking though

    hi

what exactly is the fault on this fridge/freezer

does it cool down to correct temp then switch off then not switch back on or not until it is at room temp

if it is then there is a modification (available from bosch 491415 ) that can be done to these to cure the problem

the same problem has been reported here before and basicly involves cutting some wires and joining them together to bypass the stat..read the instructions in the kit very very very carefully and :zap: UNPLUG THE MACHINE :zap: before attempting anything

    Re: Bosch Flood protection activated.

    hi

one of the more likley places is the inlet valve

run the machine for about 20 mins then :zap: UNPLUG THE MACHINE :zap: but leave the water connected, then remove the side panels and then look at the valve inside the machine for a small drip (easier to see from the right hand side of the machine with a bright torch or you can remove the valve from the rear then look at it).

as for the blockages the one in the pressure chamber is the one to clean along with the hose from pressure chamber to the sump. the one at the top left is not really needed

and is it the switch that is broken or just the button

    hi

the end light flashing indicates not drained within 6 mins

this is usually the pump or the waste hose blocked but as you have changed the pump and checked the pipe we must now look at what tells it that it hasnt emptied

the water level is controlled buy a pressure switch but these are usually quite reliable so look for a blockage in the tube running to it

this is usually located buy removing the lid and is usually brown or black in colour with a black tube comming out of the bottom

remove the black tube and blow down the end to see if it is blocked

if not try the pressure bottle at the other end of the hose connected to the sump hose at the base of the tub as this is possibly blocked with gunge

as for the drum not turning the brushes are probably worn out as you suggest (they normally last 5-7 years with average use)

:zap: POWER OFF BEFORE REMOVING ANYTHING :zap:

    hi

error code 4 is motor not turning correctly

POWER OFF then remove motor and check brushes. (probably worn out)

    Re: Bosch WFL 2450

    hi

do you have the full model number ie wfl2450gb/01 or /04 and the FD number

the active light flashing indicates that it has taken too long to fill (i am looking at the test sequence as i write this) ie longer than 6 mins

check that there is enough water pressure going into the machine and that the machine isnt syphoning. although this machine should have a device to stop it syphoning.

as for the motor not turning can you hear the control module clicking when the drum should be turning? if you can it is probably the brushes that are worn out
