    1 to check if outer tub has been replaced just check sump hose has been correctly fitted as some of the earlier sump hoses can twist and when pumping collapse in on themselves seen that a couple of times now

    could be a pressure switch problem as you say it pumps water out no problem pressure chamber may be blocked

    you try charging a customer for a screw round are way and the hubby cant get home quick enough you definelty have to be careful how you phrases things 🙂

    i cant see people getting a proper service till appliances are retailed at a realistic price hence service can then be charged realistacly there fore less jobs required to earn a living
    i cant believe the cr@p that is been churned out at the momment especillay with all the concerns about resources ect fundamental things like bearings we gone back to the dark ages i see so many machine under 12 mths with catastrophic bearing falure how on earth are manufacturers aloud to get away with it????
    its not as if spares are priced in lkine with retail price of machines

    as a manufacture a engineer i can tell u we dont get enough info enough time and very little support its unfortunate but in this day and age u have little choice or time but to throw a load of parts at the machine and hope
    i dont agree with this practise but what do u do when over loaded with work and little support?????????/

    cutting out after couple of mins is definetley a relay problem
    1 direction is timer problem im afraid

    hi if its first led of four flashing it indicates water has overflowed and is present in base
    r u using 3&1 tablets plus rinse aid?

    could be a pressure switch problem 5 flashes = pump blocked p/switch jammed on full
    does the washer fill when prog selected?
    if it does is water level a lot higher than normal?

    freezing up in 2 days? seems a little quick if u are defrosting it propley
    i would check door is sealing correctly no damage to seal
    sounds like there is a lot of moisture entering freezer compartment

    u can buy eprom seperatly and they r pre programmed specific to each model even though it is same chip
    will sort part no out of eprom tomorrow

    they do know about this prob some machines check water cleanliness on rinse check pump filter is clean
    but also had some were eprom on display is faulty
    you want get much tech help from merloni now and call centre will not know about it as they are just call takers now
    ive seen it twice you quite right that it will wash ok
