Use conformal coating this is used on PCB used in harsh enviroments, Aviation, oil industry & some engine managements systems, usually PCB are dipped in a conformal coating bath, but you can use a spray can.

4 Quid from Maplin, but be warned if you need to de-solder & rework the PCB it can make it difficuilt.

    Re: Magnetic Motors

    Hope this helps !!

AC motors can be operated in either direction, but the standard AC motor rotation is counterclockwise when facing the end opposite the drive shaft. AC motors can be reconnected to reverse the direction of rotation. This is why many manufactures polorise the connector terminals determining the direction !!

I did notice that one off these TD had the back two feet missing, it may have buckled the frame, both off these machines have had little use & are under a year old.

    Re: Prima LPR450 Dishwasher.

Just to let you know this is a whirlpool MC made in China, and after using a insulation tester at 500v it picked up a heater fault, which my DVM did not detect.

    Silly me !!

Yes this is a Zanussi M/C had a look at the PCB no visable blown tracks or components !!

I have not tested heater/stats yet but if they were O/C would the DW just stop mid programme??

    Thanks again .
