    Re: Siemens sn26m290gb/02 dishwasher E02

I was going to repair it as I picked it up to Re-Con,
I shall check the relay first & have a look at PCB.
I shall keep you posted if i fix it.

    Thanks

Re: De detrich micowave opening door trips

All 3 microswitches are soldered through the pcb ! They are V3 microswithes with funny legs to go into the pcb.
All swithes check out ok with a meter
looks like a new pcb 🙁

    Thanks for your help

    Re: Smeg DWI612C

Useully the heater relay on the PCB is NOT switching !
if you link together the two power output termials on the PCB relay when the DW starts beeping this will prove the relay is NOT switching, by letting the DW heat up, this can NOT be done at the begining of the cycle otherwise this will indicate another fault.

Then test the relay and the transistor to switch the coil of the relay !! I think it gets switched from PIN 3 on the IC programable device if you getting no switching voltage to the BASE of the transistor its the IC.
Also check the power diodes these usually get HOT and can also be at fault, look for obvious scorch marks on the PCB.

    Hope this helps !!

    Feedback !

Flipped the DW over off with the cir/motor pulled a sweet wrapper out !!

Took me more time to remove the intergrated DW from the unit than to complete the fix !!

    Thanks again 🙂

    AEG SANTO75388KG

    Ser No. 42800165

Customer complains the Freezer alarm just goes off, thermometer read about -15 so it looks like a sensor problem ?
No pattern observed. Seems random, not every time door opened and usually some time later.

    Any Ideas

    Thanks

    It’s OFF !!

Borrowed a hydraulic puller and it came off, did not even have to heat it up.

Think I now need to puchase a HYDRAULIC PULLER KIT !! 😛

    Yep !!

There are about 6-8 wires to the main on/off switch one live wire is not being switched the the PCB.

Quick cut/chop n fix all works on test !!

    Thanks

    Thanks for the reply martinm,

I have tested the motor when it won’t spin and there is no open circuit therefore if there was a cut out internally in the motor it would go O/C if the motor was overheating.

Useully there is a NTC in line with the Triac on the PCB, could this have a faullt and not working properly I am tempted to change it !

    Any thoughts ???

You should be able to see the impellar after removing all internal filters.

Remove base plate (4 screws) and pump is twist locking type

    Re: BOSCH WVT12842GB/06 E04 fault ??

    Thanks for the pointers.

No I did not insulation test the heater, but the fault occured after the wash program had finished & the machine was pumping & cleared the water, therefore I would not of thought it would be the NTC. (the NTC is not fitted to the heater its underneath the drum)

Re: Tea for two……..not on your Nelly!

Booked a call to to fit a intergrated WD told the lady it could take a least a hour, when I got there the old lady sat me down made me a cup of earl grey and she had been out to the local shop & bought me a strawberry cream sponge cake for £3.50.
We both enjoyed a slice, and as I finished the job she gave me the rest of the cake & a can of cider !!

Can’t wait to go back there !! might book the next call in on a Sunday to see if I can get a full Roast Diner !! Ha ha !!
