    Yes I agree, could be either the relay card Pt.No. 1702778 about £14 or the 7.5mf capacitor Pt.No. 1702172 about £4. Hope this helps.

    Gave it a go, still got the same problem 🙁

    About 20 seconds after being switched on red door lock led flashes rapidly, the easy iron led flashes slowly and the dryer components spring into life even without pressing the on button ❗ It looks like an electronics problem to me, unless any one knows different.

    Partfinder lists the EEPROM and pcb seperately so presumably I will need both parts and the EEPROM removal tool to complete the repair. Any advice would be appreciated.

    Wash-Vac used to be brill, but since they sold out to the Wolsley Group and renamed it Parts Center, forget it.

    I`ve had two of these machines with the same symptoms as you described and on both occasions the NTC was the culprit. Part No. 481228268035. About 20 quid I think.

    I had the same problem a while back (can`t remember the machine) but a new belt cured the problem.

    Thanks Chris. That was my initial thought, but it seemed to be switching ok with my test hose connected.
