Oh please lets put the arrogance to one side you are missing the point I don’t have to answer your questions. It’s part of the free speech which you so honourably defend.

You know full well ken. I am contractually restricted to discuss money, future plans etc etc. that not a cop out but a legal issue. Please put you concerns to the BOD and ask them for a press story that you can publish.

I do not speak for 0800 repair I only speak for my own beliefs.

You throw stones I throw them back. We’re does it all end????

    Re: 0800 Repair

Please correct me if I’m wrong but wasn’t the original machine made in turkey many years ago. I merely pointing out that the truth can equally be spun on any given subject fact!

Fanning the flames. No no ken just stuck up for my beliefs. If someone walks up to me in the street and is abusive to me shout loudly a pack of lies am I supposed to be a good Christian and turn the other cheek!!!! Hell no!

This is a group of guys that hunt in packs share the same outdated ethos and anyone dare to disagree gets shot down. Well you can shot me down call us thieves, con artists, rip of merchants what ever you like. I will get back up wipe the dust of my clothes and still give my alternative view to your spin.

This a gone from curiosity about 0800 repair, to a bit of banter, to agency’s being complained to, to just pure slander and trash talking.

Well maybe I will be making a complaint to the ASA about a certain website (not this one) that proclaims to be better then everyone else. Or I’m I getting confused and forgetting my place!!!! Should I be seen and not heard? Is it only indies that should have a voice.

Got to say it does make me laugh that I don’t post for weeks and when I have a look back in I see the same bullshit going un-challenged. That’s why you say ken that I fan the flames.

But what you forget is fanning the flames or giving an alternative perspective. Is all the same at the end of the day.

One thing is for sure your right ken. You can smell the fear!!!

Just has a reminder. Con artists, thieves, ripping people off. When Clive or I even dared to aim that at someone on here the troops are rounded up and the knifes are sharpened. Just like when it’s aimed at 0800. Now isn’t the a blast. Back and back forth back and forth going round in the same circles over and over again

Anyhow £75.00 for next day service and extra if its integrated or a American fridge. Tell me is it a different guy you send for the integrated or American fridge. Does he come with a gold tool bag small shoulder so he can fit inside the freezer or the American fridge. Do you charge extra if it’s a cold day or have a welly boot surcharge if it’s raining. If you can get it well done. Doesn’t mean I agree and I must stress your must likely thinking what’s it got to do with me! Exactly ditto!!!

0800 £60 same day, next day, next week, integrated, American, French whatever £60
And here’s the catch. It’s no fix no fee.

My point is a simply one. We can all throw stones, we can all ring the ASA, we can all do a lot of things but the fact remains its getting everyone no where fast.

    Thanks guys it’s been emotional.

P.s Oh and before you all go running to check your websites. I can’t be bothered. If it ain’t filling my pockets with cash then it just ain’t worth the call charge.

    Re: 0800 Repair

And equally when they call 0800 737247 they could get me. 16 years in the trade and local. I live in my area and so do all the other franchises. Yeah there are some new guys in the trade but the qualified engineers far outway the new blood We have an ex Hoover/mfi guy, another x Hoover, two from comet, two previous self employed engineers (includes me).

If someone wants to buy into a new trade then very good on them. I tip my hat to them. This trade needs new blood. Unless the likes of hotpoint etc have suddenly starting taking apprentices then in 20 years time who will be left. There are many old timers in this trade guys that I respect but they ain’t getting any younger and as they retire they ain’t getting replaced.

Sorry but you guys were newbies once. Our newbies have just chosen a route in the trade that wasn’t available to you when you started. Sorry bout that

    Re: 0800 Repair

Oh and before you even suggest that I’m the antagonist here none of you lot even knew I existed. If you lot didn’t want me to other my opinion on this thread when it started months ago then ken should not have allowed me to join. As I said before there are two sides to every story and without my input we would only have the negative and knife twisting shown toward 0800. Your and you pals have your opinion and I and now Clive have ours. There are no rules about having to agree with the popular consensus in here.

Maybe I will get all the other franchises and employed to join ukw and we could then have a balanced debate like civilised people do. Although I will get them to make up names to confuse.

    Re: 0800 Repair

Yeah coz only my posts are spitefull. I stress again. Con artists, thieves bla bla bla.

Having a website that you don’t use is a contradiction to the fact you have one. What’s the point!!!! I would be embarrassed to stick that rubbish on my profile. Let’s go back to 6 jobs before 11:30. I bet your customers were well pleased to pay for someone to run in a rush a repair, no time for a chat or a cup of tea, bit like a smash and grab. Doesn’t seem anywhere near another time to carry out safety checks. If I had an engineer knocking out 6 calls by 11:30 I would not sleep at night!!!

Now on the spelling and grammar. Haven’t none of you lot guessed I’m dyslectic.

Must have hit a nerve. You put that joke of a website on your profile if you didn’t want it to be ridiculed you should have not advertised it. Sorry!!!! Lol. Isn’t it funny how people can through stones but don’t like them back. Take your head from you butt. Sorry but you should have looked at yourself before criticising others.

    Re: 0800 Repair

Unlike you lee8. I don’t hide behind my username. As I said previously months ago. I speak for myself and no one else. My view are my views and not of 0800 repair.

When you grow some and come out of hiding then you can comment on what should or shouldn’t be said. I have given as good as I’ve have taken on here. Any neutral that maybe reading will see that there is 2 sides to the argument. Without my input there would be only 1 side. As long as people trash talk 0800 I will comment. In fact read back someone asked for my comment and I duly obliged.

    Re: 0800 Repair

It’s too easy with you lee. I don’t even have to point the figure or try that hard. Anyway should you be advising someone what toaster to buy. When I need advice from you lee I’ll ask for it. Until then zip it. To bring the brand into disrapute the bosses would have to give a hoot what you lot say first. Believe me up until now that haven’t.

Read this and let me enlighten you http://m.dictionary.com/d/?q=racism&o=0&l=dir. Your understanding of racism is a disgrace.

Clive statement is IMHO factual. But don’t get me wrong a cheap machine with a 9 year warranty is very clever marketing just like the 0800 websites. I believe Clive’s point is that both can be spun how you like.

Funky was you born a domestic appliance engineer? If a mug pays £75.00 for next day service then good luck to your but if they don’t want to pay then 0800 737247 we can do it same day if they ring before 12 and next day again for £60. Don’t forget it’s 0800 repair it’s in the name.

Those websites that Clive posted just shows that holes can be picked at anyone website. Except for iadoms of course as that is just plain embarrising. Tell me iadom do you still you micro fiche???

Must say I wish I had thought of doing that I would have done it months ago. Lol well done Clive

spin spin and more spin. What ever you people say I can spin what ever I say You can too. Going around in circles

Didn’t iadom post that I have posted from the same ip 40 odd times. So why am I not mike day. No one has or ever will use my log in. As for Clive’s ip you have him on your forum so check his ip and you will see I only listed in his account as he couldn’t so no big deal as it was his words not mine.

    Re: 0800 Repair

Like you ken I see us as one organisation. Some one calls 0800 con men or thieves then they call me the same. Miss guided ? Maybe maybe not. But as I been at 0800 in its inception and many of my ideas have been adopted I do take it personally. Why wouldn’t I ? It’s my right to an opinion.

0800 have had their good intentions and honest work assassinated on here. Ok so people do not like the competition ok fine everyone gets that but 0800 have provided many many engineers with work.

0800 repair have bent over backwards for me on many occasions so yes I’m loyal misguided no !

What really makes me laugh is that agents have slagged Jtm off on here and then wonder why a 0800 van pops up in that area. Now I wonder why that happened. Wake up and smell the coffee please. It’s called biting the hand that feed ms you.

When I was an agent that’s didn’t happen to me I was top off the list. Now I wonder why that was? For those struggling with this let me help. It’s because I didn’t go public with my views if I had a problem I went to the top and thay would listen. No need for a public debate on it.

Would be ok for Jtm to go public with some of the agents they have to deal with and mistakes they have made. I know one agent that never answers his emails and never answers he phone his on here. I been to his jobs and all I can say his yee ha. I noticed outside the flat a pile of dung his horse had left. Now Please don’t mistake this as a dig at agents i haven’t met them all but I also told that some very good agent frequent this forum . I believe I’m correct but I think his a mod.

There are good and bad in all companies. It’s how you deal with it that is the measure of a good company. I know of no company that is perfect

So 0800 thieves, con artists, bull shitters etc etc. Sorry no your all wrong. just honest people with good intentions

    Re: 0800 Repair

Ok fine have it your way. You heard it here first folks. Slagging off 0800 and fabricating and spinning stories is ok here.

I hope no one on here as the nerve to start a business like 0800 repair and employ many many staff. This lot will turn on you rip you apart.

At least we ain’t a high street chain attempting to take over the market. 0800 repair directors and managers are from within the trade. Domestic appliance people that this tread attacks, I do not see the respect you say you have ken for the Pacifica group. All I see is contempt. If I’m wrong then sorry but I do not think I am.

We are not conning people or ripping people off. Im a honest guy making an honest living. And I have no doubt at all that my fellow colleagues have the same attitude if not like the guy in the picture they must also go!!!!!

If my early posts bother you so much then please feel free to delete them. I ain’t bothered.

    Re: 0800 Repair

Ken you must read my posts again. That picture is in my opinion gross misconduct and as a stake holder in the business made my views known to the directors.

It’s a simple case of if he didn’t do it then there would be no picture. There is no place for that sort of behaviour. But let’s not make this thread all about that. Calling hard working people con artists and thieves is bang out of order. You know it and so do I.

Some of the comments on here are disgusting only but the posters remain free to post simply because they share your view. This isn’t a open forum it may as well be from the soviet union and it is a witch hunt.

As for the website link it was merely mocking your post about smith & Weston.

Lighten up or you will blow a gasket. If you do 0800 charge a £120 all in repair it’s 0800 737247 that’s 0800 repair the number is the name.
