Who said your were being sued. Not me. I wouldn’t waste the money. And I’m sure that 0800 would rather spend the £200000 on marketing or more staff.

No doubt reading this thread inspires me to work even harder as I’m sure the same applies to the 0800 directors.

You own this site so has the publisher I do indeed blame you for the dirty tricks. You could have put and end to it and have been asked to do do by non 0800 posters and also myself. Like your members the staff of 0800 have bills to pay as well. People may lose there jobs because of this smear campaign against 0800 repair. It’s out of order and i make no apologies for saying so.
Yes there as been many lies on here but I’m sorry to say you only wish to point out the ones about you. Apparently we are conning people, stealing work and misleading customer. 0800 adjusted their website because of this thread. Is that not enough for you. What more do you and the other want?

Look this is getting way out of hand now.
Clive emailed it too me from his phone as he was away from a computer. Nothing under hand here. And I’m sure if I checked it not against the rules to do that. I simply posted it on his behalf and in his account. I’m not that naive to think ip info is not sent along with the post.

The first machine was made in turkey. So Clive is factual in that statement. I was offered the chance to sell one many years ago and I pointed out it was just a beko with a new badge on. The guy wasnt impressed with me. Never mind got some free soap powder and dishwasher tablets.
6 calls before 11:30 am. Quality repairs I guess? Not!
All those complaints you posted have been settled without the need for trading standards. What company doesn’t get complaints?
I agree with Clive your site does suck. Not updated since 2006. And you advertise that rubbish. Lmao. I’d be ashamed of that site and would take it down. That would be like a waiter picking his nose and sticking his finger in my soup. No wonder you don’t get work from it.

Jessica. You yourself used the term “con” as well as lee8. And if you are suggesting that it is me that is negative towards indies then you are very wrong.
I have total respect for indies. They pay for there advertising and work there nuts off. Anyone that removes the shackles of employment in my opinion deserves upper-most respect.
However this doesn’t mean I lack respect for employed engineers. We can all be self employed and I do miss the secruity of being employed. But as for the toaster seller lee8 that’s were the respect ends I’m afraid.

Jessica. What you inv Jtm is nothing to do what Jtm charge the customer. Also the website says £60 maximum for “labour”. it’s say nothing about parts. What do expect Jtm to give you the work for free!! I’ll have a word with Jtm for you and tell them you no longer want the work as you think it’s a con. I’m sure Jtm will not want your negative attitude pushed on there customers.

Oh so we are coning people now as well.
Well let’s see. The customer is finding my website with me on it and then guess what yes that’s right they get me. Same for Sheffield and Durham etc etc.
So they get the person they find. On the “local” website. Same as if they go on Ade site and yes again the same as martins etc etc.
The local websites are were the work comes from not the main website.
Now as I said previously. Why should I pay £20k a year to yellow pages.
You know it does make me laugh when some employed person starts talking about running a business. I really do respect the indies out there for working there nuts of to earn a crust it’s a hard graft and you must spend money before any can be earned. Sometimes not knowing if next week will be busy or not. For 8 years being self employed I have had the highs and the lows. Now no matter if I’m paying yell or 0800 repair, Someone will always earn money from me. Fact!! At least I had the intelligence to go out and do better.
On the other hand, I could have stayed employed and still be earning crap money for more work then I do now.
Fact is Lee, your employed. Who do you think is getting conned?? Your cut for your efforts is far less as an employed person then it could be if you worked for yourself. Your getting conned everyday. Look closer to home before you start throwing stones.

All the new indesit and Hotpoint dishwashers are not made by midea. The dishwashers badged indesit or Hotpoint that looks similar to the media made appliance were pre the machinery sell off. You can tell the difference by the electronics used. Also the spade terminals on the indesit made d/w didn’t have blue rubber covers and the circ pump wasn’t painted black. As a franchise for indesit for 5 years I have ne’er seen a black painted circ pump or spade terminals on and ind/hpt.
