    Re: Indesit Reorganise

There you go again Lee. Mushroom springs to mind. The Chinese purchased some machinery from indesit to make dishwashers. There the association ends. This happened when indesit designed it’s current dishwasher range. Some brands now purchase said dishwasher from china.

Everyone can sleep easy now hey Martin. Isn’t it funny how much satisfaction is gained by simply inserting a ‘*’ after a statement.

All those customers now putting the phone down now because they now see an astrix. Not lol.

Although my magic screwdriver tells me washdoctor will be back with more. Never mess with a man with too much time on his hands.

    Re: 0800 Repair

Ok strange post. Obviously I touched a nerve.

Still your posts mainly focus on non factual content that only demonstrates you totally lack of understanding of the trade. I did not purchase warranty work from 0800 only the cash calls. Also “brands” do not ring and say we’ve go x amount of calls per day. No one ever gaurantees work volume on a per day basis. As I posted previously stick to selling toasters and let us engineers worry about the rest.

You like statistics. Here is one for you 90{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of what you post is borderdash.

FYI. Notice on that topic how the only person to comment was ken no one else.  Isn’t that strange considering that many on here have the Fixzone software.   Well done lee8 you managed to start a thread that no one was interested in or choose to ignore.

working for comet selling tv’s doesn’t qualify you as a engineer.  Leave the complicated stuff to the engineers hey.

Most if not all of what you post is boll@cks.  One thing guaranteed is the very mention of Jtm and you come on here a talk crap.

I’m sorry but when someone hides behind a user name and spouts off rubbish to me it’s cowardly and shows a lack of class.

Making up statistics just shows your lack of intelligence.

Sometimes I write my post on the note pad app on my iPhone first and check it. Sometimes I write my post on the website when I’m in a rush that why sometimes my post looks rushed because they are.

Mod edit: Removed the first paragraph as name calling is unnecessary.

    Re: 0800 Repair

I know what I say is factual. To comment any more on this would be disrespectful and arrogant to the many guys who have signed and paid to be a franchise and the man in a van contractors as I would be revealing sensitive and private agreements between said engineers and Jtm/0800.

All I will say is it in very much the interest of Jtm/0800 to give the cash calls to anyone other then the guys on contracts.

I will also add that on one occasion in 2 years with me by mistake Jtm sent an agent to one of my Lettings agents. They actually rang me and owned up to a genuine mistake and re-allocated the call to me. Now I know you wil say but would they do the same if it was a cash call that I wouldn’t find out about. Well as you know these things always end up getting back to you.

Example how many time when employed have you heard about an engineer who trousered the call out fee and ends up getting caught eventually. liars always get found out.

I have no doubts on the integrity of Jtm. They have always been fair with me and helped me out so until I see real evidence of any wrong doing I’m afraid my loyalty is well earned.

    Re: 0800 Repair

Doesnt surprise me that you have found something else on there to question. . Really you should get out more ;).

I have answered as much as I can for you. I ain’t dodging the question but I fear the more I answer the more you will dig. I guess what I’m saying is that nothing I say will satisfy you.

The answers are there in any franchise agreement.

If you want to label me a non- indie then so be it. It ain’t going to stop me trading I’m in this for the long haul.

I do not wish to get into an argument with you Ade but you have spent a awful long time on this for someone who doesn’t fear the competition.

I’m not sure what you are saying is factual. All engineers are checked for PL. Also Jtm double insure anyway. No area were there is a yellow van can anyone else get the CASH calls. The warranty maybe. A yellow van engineer be it contractor in a van or franchise as exclusive rights to the cash work. The only exception to this is were service delay is not met or a skill set not met. I know this because of how the system is set. of course mistake may be made.

As for so what. Well all I can say is yes you got some lines changed. I agree. But it hasn’t stop the phone ringing and in this busy world I doubt that the customer reads every line on any website I certainly do not.

I can guarantee this. Tomorrow every agent will get an email asking for PL updates.

    Re: 0800 Repair

No I didn’t slam indies ‘which’ did. I just bought it to your attention. IMHO any indie that is signed up member DASA or the WTA abides by there rules. The two indies in the report at a guess are two herbets from a local paper who last year were decorating a church hall on community service. Sometimes Ade I play devils advocate.
I was merely making the point that just because you are labelled a indie does make you god. 0800 will find, hire and fire bad engineers. There are good and bad in everyone bring an indie doesn’t guarantee against.

Anyway. thought we were going to be nice.

I answered this about 10 posts ago

Yes Ade I can do any work I see fit. I am free to approach whoever I like. I have no restraints at all. I have many of my own contracts that have nothing to do with 0800 although i book them through the office system.

Jackal and funky. Problem is if we ban those sort of customers we won’t have business’s to run.

If you have a annoying kid in the house asking ” what’s that for, what’s that do” I find asking them to hold the meggar neddles and turning up to 1000v and zap no more silly questions. Works a treat. But remember if mummy ask what happened say ” I told him not to touch”. lmao.

    Re: 0800 Repair

Hey dr dill it’s always temp sensor on those fridge freezers.

Wow do I see a softening towards 0800 repair. Cone on ken share the love.

I care about this trade and all jokes aside I consider my self and indie no matter who signs my cheques.

This trade does need regulating. Too many times I see shoddy work by cowboys. None on here as the cowboys would bother joining a site like this or at TA be it WTA or DASA. But equally I would like to see customer vetted.

    Here would be my questions.

1 are you a reasonable person.

2 do you complain for no reason.

3 do you like suing people.

4 do you no better then everyone else

5 Is the customer really always right.

Except for no 1 if you answered yes to any of the other question then please_________

I will leave you guys to fill in the blank.

If we have now accepted that we all CAN get along then I thank you all for being worthy opponents. Good luck and good earnings.

    Re: 0800 Repair

Yes. But it all helps. I have been to many customers on the back of that report. In fact it was a new customer that brought it to my attention. Kaa Ching.

All I have done is shown a different perspective to the opinions on here. No one is above acusation when running a business. I have many friends in this trade who are indies and keep there shop in order. There are good and bad in every trade. 0800 ain’t the bad guys here dispite many attempts on here to prove otherwise.

It’s a free and open Market for all. Just because someone with more money to spend on marketing then Joe bloggs chooses to do so then so be it. That is capitalism and unless you guys want to set up a politcal party to make a change then that is the way this country works.

As I said before don’t hate the player, hate the game instead.

Lots of time has been wasted on here and all that has been achieved is a few line changes on a website. Hardly worth the effort IMHO. As mud is mud I’m sure you guys will find more to fling. But as the old saying goes People who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones.

    Re: 0800 Repair

I have just read the which report again that Martin supplied. In the paper addition of the magazine they go into greater detail regarding the first paragraph (neff cooker) them on the Version Martin and I guess ken has. My understanding is that which E magazine is different to the paper version.
