Avoiding oldtog on his honda 50 π
Thanks Kev how did you know I used to own a Honda 50, and it had a fairing yup. It was brill. π
After 35 years of non bike riding (Honda 50) last year as some of you know I bought a Kawasaki (not a drink P45), yep a Kawasaki GPZ500 and I love riding it, but only in the fine weather. π― π―
Martin I thought everyone knew who the OT was. I was and am not afraid of using my real name, its just that sometimes peaple wont comment if they know who you are. 8) Anomnimity does have some rewards and some lows. However I am just an OT and I am feeling my age π‘ untill I get on the bike, hide my face in the space helmet and wear armour plated clothing and boots. 8) 8)
It sure makes me appreciate the bikers π and thier vulnability when I am driving the van.
Bike details; Insurance Β£150 fully com, road licence less than Β£50 per year and will do 200miles on less than Β£8. π π π
Going back into my cage now OT

Nice one Lawrence π , we had one today to book in for Monday an urgent washing machine. She is taking the kids to school, taking the car in for service, taking the dogs out, shopping with her mum, picking the kids up, and collecting the car. Want me to call after six to repair. Er I think not, itβs so urgent the machine that she cannot be bothered to put her self out, so neither can I. π π π

ParticipantRe: DASA OR NOT DASA
Hi Streetlighter,
What would you gain, for a start recognition from Manufacturers, sell insurance cover on machines up to six years old plus you get all the work, also you make money on the sale plus when the customer pays for another year you receive the commission again, not bad eh. Plus Network DASA, etc. π πAs Scott said, come along to a meeting and meet us. Make your Application now.

Hi Mike,
Sounds like the base safety switch has been operated, the operation of this safety switch keeps the drain pump going all the time. You have to find out what has caused this switch to operate, it could even be broken and in a position of permanent operation.

Mouse trap… works on children, adults (who do not wear shoes), dogs, cats, and me if iam not carefull. Carpet for moving range cookers, and a fluffer for removing cobwebs, especialy as we now have to pay a tax on cobwebs… π π³
Otherwise the usual bits and bobs a small and large chisel instead of screwdivers these can be converted into leavers for prizing the built in stuff out, and removing the odd bits of modern built in units that get in the way. A good convertable Ixo and various angled bits and bobs for ooodling and removing.

ParticipantRe: DASA Web site!
Martin, watch out it will change again soon this includes the cobwebs.
Ah by the way do you know you now have to pay extra for cobwebs oh yes, this is a new Goverment initiuative we now have to pay an added tax for any cobweb inhabitents ie; live spiders and an extra tax for thier food that is caught by thier traps. I of the understanding this is a European initiatve. π π π

I have a cheery song for my dear lady and all others of a similar vain.
Oh lord its hard to be humble,
when your perfect in every way,
each time I look in the mirror,
i get better looking each day.And so it goes on, Ted should try it on her indoors with no vanity mirror, ah what a shame.
It winds my missus up each time he he.
Talking about customers, some centuries back I knocked on this old boy’s door, the door was made mainly made out of glass (opaque) so I could see through. Any way, there was no answer so I rang from my mobile and I herd the phone ring from within, so I knew I had the correct address. I could see the old boy through the door doddle into his hallway and as he did I again knocked on the door. He answered the phone and said, hold on a minute there is someone at the door, he opened the door and said hold on a moment there is someone on the phone.
I was agast i was.

Martin, I have something in a similar vain to this, and it does make the customer think a bit. β π‘ β
They usualy sign, I give them a copy and proceed with the job. Sometimes a problem arises ie some sort of damage, and the customers old man comes on the phone bleeting about the damage. We then point out in a nice kind way that his other half had signed a disclaimer, and this usualy shuts them up with an appology.
